Hello I just bought some 19" rims and tires for my celica. However this is my first set of low profile rims and I do not know who is *truly* qualified to mount and balance the tires on the rims without scratching them up causing any damage..... I live in Northern Wisconsin red neck land and no one has rims like this so does it take a specific tire mounting device for rims and tires this big or can any tire balancing place handle this?????

Thanks guys I just want to be safe these bas***** were not cheap!!!!

Most tire places are prepaired for such a combo of wheels and tires. Go anywhere

NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife
92 Civic hatch B16 - Sold
10th anniv RX-7 - RIP
The Slow Celica - Sold...and then crushed crushed due to street racing.

make sure the place you go to knows what they are doing. make sure that they reverse mount your setup and that the press and claws are plastic. not all places know what they are doing. since low profiles have stiffer side walls, some places might even use a crow bar to set the tire in place.

Yeah you can go pretty much anywhere. I went to a plays called like juans automotive or something. I had to take my friend cuz they didnt even speak english. I got the tires mounted and balanced for like 50 bucks tho...not a single scratch.
