Well, after all the stress...I've decided to keep the Celica. I didn't want to leave the 6 gen community anyway. Hehe. But instead...project 3s-gte begins this month. So keep an eye out, I may have some
7a-fe parts for sale after the swap. Thanks for the support though guys. I'll keep you updated!

Once you get turbo'd you drive around with your stereo on mute listening for the BOV. When I got my intake I would mute it for 2nd and 3rd gear. Lol.

Sweet man, I was like "no way" when I read the original post. Glad to hear that your keeping that tight ace ride. I almost went that route too, but then I decided to do the same thing. Swap the engine out to get the looks and the satisfaction of smoking anything I came against. I'm currently in the pocess of buying all that is needed to build a 4agte black top. I built the wish list and start ordering the parts this week. I can't wait to finally have it all done, the engine will be here shortly afterwards, I know its backwards but this is the road I'm traveling. Good luck on your project.

I'm glad to hear that you're keeping your car! smile.gif It's already very, very nice, and it'll be simply amazing with that engine swap.

Jussimple, glad to hear that you're doing a Black Top 4A-G(T)E swap. smile.gif That's gonna be awesome as well. Be sure to check out Club 4AG if you haven't already.

Well, I'm glad you both decided to stay with the Celica and swap in an engine. Its a good feeling to know that some people will spend that extra dollar to keep something original and make it fast. Its amazing to be a part of 6GC.
