We all know automatics are boring, but a cool looking shifter might make me feel a little better about mine.
I was wondering if a more modern gate style shifter (say, from a scion tc or lexus es) could be modified to work in our cars. What kind of modifications might be required? Kind of an odd thing to do, I know, but I think it would make the interior look a lot better. Any ideas? -------------------- ![]() |

since we have o/d its really hard to find shifters, but there is one on eBay for like 80 bucks. Keep in mind tho if you upgrade an auto shifter in our cars it is going to sit higher than the stock one.
