 Can I use a subwoofer from a house speaker system? |

A while ago I got a 6 speaker system for my room with an 8-10 inch sub that sounds pretty nice. Can I possibly hook up that sub to my car system/what do I need to do this?

Possibly yes. What's the subwoofer's specs as far as RMS wattage, ohms, and voice coil(s)?

yeah if u know much of electronics then build a box and wire em up....but i would just get a used set of kickers or something if your looking to go the cheap route?

yeah i did that once...not worth it. i blew it in like a day and i had it turned low. just get a cheap set from walmart or sumthin.

i'm using an adire audio sub powered by a ~200 watt amp and it is better than most car subwoofers i've heard.. great sound quality
