umm i jus tried to change the lights on my cluster and wen i pulged everything in the back and turn on my lights the cluster doesnt light up. why is that? did i break someting?

maybe check a fuse.

change the lights as in change burnt out bulbs?? change to LED's? all wire harnesses plugged back in? theres two or three of them if i remember correctly

could be a couple things
if you switched to LEDs you might have put them in wrong. unlike reg bulbs, on leds the current has to be flowing in a certain direction for them to light up.
you may have blown the fuse as well
it is a 10amp fuse in the fuse box just below the steering column. do your windows not roll down as well? atleast that is what happened when i blew that fuse on my car. if so it's the fuse, if not couldn't exactly tell you what your problem is.

Did you turn the dimmer knob to the off position? I would make sure you have the gauge dimmer knob turned on all the way then trouble shoot each LED.

good point
if the dimmer switch isn't connected well the gauge lights won't turn on.

haha ur right bout the dimmer thing thanks =D it lights up now i thought changing the blubs would make my cluster brighter but it only a lil bit i dont kno where to get the LED ones =\ thaks everyone for help

glad that you got it fixed. i got my leds of ebay. just look for 194 refractor leds. i got mine for like 12$ or something.
these are what i got. Looks really good at night. check my profile for a pic.

laugh.gif Had a feeling when I read the initial post. When I first started driving at 14 I hit that knob before I started up the car at night and I thought the gauge cluster was broken. Took my father all of 2 seconds to come out and turn the knob back on. rolleyes.gif
