Ok, i have a 94 Celica Gt-S and i want to lower it. I am interested in KYBGR2's but im not 100% sure if i have the sport suspension.

If i was to post a pic of my car lifted up with the tire off would you guys be able to let me know??

As well, the rears of the cars are all the same? no sport suspension back there??

Finally what is an expected price to pay for these KYB's and as well the springs, i want eibach's i believe or something eqivelent(sp) in quality, and maybe cheaper in price??

Thanks guys let me know if the picture will help and ill get one after work today

imo.. it reallie doesn't matter if u hv sports suspension or not. i would just get the sports suspension gr-2 because they are the same price as for non-sports suspension... approx $40USD something each... so about 160USD for 4... rears r all the same.

i would either get eibach or teins... my eibachs costed low 200s (USD)

since u r in whitby, check out c7performance.com's vendor section. tein s-techs for $220CAD (cash deal)

only the fronts have shock inserts or not. the rear are all the same. since you have a 94, id recommend buying all 4 struts assemblys. eibachs are cheaper through the buy/sell forum

sport suspension KYB's are about $20 more each and you can't tell if you have them from looking at the car unless you take it apart... just go to the dealer and give them your VIN number and they can tell you in one minute whether you have it or not.... or better yet... just call the parts department wink.gif

i paid $250 for 4 brand new KYB full struts shipped to my door in 2 days
i paid $~150 for my Tein S-Tech springs shipped in about a little over a week from ebay and a trusted seller through many celica member... i can look up his tag if you would like

i got mine @ www.importrp.com

seems like they raised the prices now, or promotion is over, so it's about 210-215 for a set.

but yea, the difference between sports and non-sports is < $1

so, you can use the sealed strut on a car that did not come with it, but cannot use non-sealed shock on a car that came with sealed? did 94s come with sealed? KYB has their unsealed ones listed as 94-99 and sealed as 95-99

So, if I get sealed struts, they'll work on my car whether or not I have the superstrut suspension, but the non-sealed will only work if I don't have it. right?

the sealed should work regardless. the non-sealed is just the insert so that's y ppl wif sealed ones used to buy used non-sealed housing
