I just have a few questions about this. What are they and what do they do? Do they help us perform better in any way? If i wanted to buy some where can i order them from?

They don't really help performance at all but there may be small gains. Gas mileage does improve though. You can get them from nology.com or just search google.com for nology hotwires.

It depends on what you want to do later on and if you might have some ecu problems when there are install.

I have personally tried them on a 4age 20v and a subaru engine.

In both instants, there are very nice and have gain over 1hp (how much is noticeable hp) and also in torque. Better engine starts, mileage and easy revving.

My advice to you is, if you are going to add an ignition box (MSD w/ timing controller, then these wires are a no no), there will work and give you that little extra.

It is a balance of money pay, looks and hp gain.

If it helps, I looked into this and weighed up Nology and Magnecor.
I went with Magnecor KV85's.
