Oh Natalie, thats no good! What are your plans? Getting new wheels or repairing those ones? Did it damage the car at all?

The only damage I think it may have done to the car was the alignment. However I wont know till tonight. My dad came out to put a spare on but he needed some other tools to take care of it so he took me to work and will go back tonight.

I think im just going to replace that rim. Im looking at a new car this week so im not planning on doing much to the celica than just making sure it can run enough to get around town.

I cant seem to find the wheels anywhere which blows. So i guess ill be rolling around looking like a doofus for awhile.

I wasnt speeding or being reckless either. Just driving and like a dumb blonde just hit the curb on a street I know pretty well.

Once a year something happens to my car. A year ago almost to the day I was pulled over for reckless driving when i was close to my one year with no incidents in my car. Then today I was just thinking how I was close to another year with no incidents and how in the first roundabout I thought to myself that I felt like someone was going to run it and run into me so I made sure I was going slower in the 2nd roundabout but obviously not slow enough!

The curb strikes again!

that's too bad. but it could've been worse. i hit a curb once HARD after trying to avoid a car accident.

all the damage was contained to the passenger side drivetrain..

tore the cv boot,
cracked axle,
bent hub assembly and control arm,
broke wheel bearing and lug 'stud'?
steering spindle
bent caliper and mount, smashed rotor
blown strut, not to mention a crushed rim.

i might be forgeting something but you get the idea.. my wallet took a hard hit too! haha

it put me back a little financially but i couldnt imagine losing my celica to a garage, yard, or some dip that wouldn't appreciate it.

That is really sad! However the important thing is that you avoid the accident and you are in good health now!
I believe the curbs start a war with us...!!!

We should make sure the curbs don't have any weapons of mass destruction...
