Okay..duno if any1 already did this, but heres a lil how to that i quickly put together tonite.

Jus lettin every1 know that i dont have pics of me actually putting the motor in cuz i couldnt get the camera to work until later.

Here it goes.

1) Remove inner door piece. (How To)

2) Line the window up so that the right bolt (orange) is visible thru the hole (which u will use to acess later with a ratchet)

IPB Image

I left the window in the middle because i did this alone and i found it to be the easiest place to access all the bolts and remove the window safely.

MARK YOUR BOLTS SO YOU DONT FORGET WHERE THEY GO
3) Once the door piece is removed and the motor unplugged from the power socket, using a 10mm ratchet, unbolt the two bolts at the top of the door that hold the top rail (red), the three bolts holding the motor (white), and the three bolts at the bottom that the bottom of the rail in place (blue).

IPB Image

This will allow all of the components of the window motor to be able to be moved.

4) After removing the top bolts, you should see two shims on each bolt (between the window and the door piece(green).

IPB Image

5) Now, once again using the 10m ratchet, you can remove the three bolts/bushings (they are the same piece) that hold the window onto the motor rail (nuts marked with yellow).

IPB Image

6) Once those are removed you can slowly wedge the window out of the door. In order to do so, pull the window rail and push the three bolts out of the rail (see picture)

IPB Image

This will be a lil difficult, just take your time.

7) Once the window is removed, you can now remove the window motor/rail. To do so, push the top part of the rail down into the door. Make sure the bolts from the top/bottom part of the rail are clear so that you can move it downward.

Once pushed down, swing the bottom rail to the left (a lil tough, but it will go, take your time)

I encountered the wire that runs to the courtesy light in the door n the rail bolt kept gettin stuck under it (pic of the wire)

IPB Image

Once you clear the wire, lift the bottom part of the rail out of the main hole (circled in picture below) and pull the rail and motor out.

8) End of Removal

For reinstallation of window and motor:

1) Place the motor and rail inside the door doing the opposite of removal.

2) Loosely place nuts on bolts on the motor along with the rail.

Dont forget the shims on the two bolts on the top of the window rail!!

3) When placing the window back inside, use a pal (if you're gangster u can do this yourself) to align the nuts/bushings in place on the window rail holder (see pic) there are crosshairs so that you can center the bolts in there smile.gif

IPB Image

4) Tighten these three bolts after they are aligned until they are pretty tight, i dont think u can really overtighten em.

5) Once the window is aligned and tight, tighten the rest of the bolts.

6) Make sure everythin is tight and straight and give it a test drive by reconnecting the power cord and the switchbox. It should roll up/down fine, if isn't as snug at the top of the doorpiece (when closed), realign the nuts on the bolts on the window. (see Step 3 picture)

7) Reattach inner door piece (Reverse of removal)

Voila. You have removed the motor assembly and window so that you can replace either or both!

Please add if yall feel i left out stuff!

X

**I'll add more pics later today, battery is runnin low!!**
