Hi, would a 5sfe alt. fit a 3sgte, like could it be mated?

you'll need the plug from the 5sfe, the plug on teh 3SGTE is different, besides that it should work with no problems.

I was at the junkyard and noticed a lot alternators off Toyota motors would work on any other engines. you just need a new size belt and a pulley with some of them in order to make it work along with the plug. If its not off the same motor.
