Well guys, i've looked at numerous sites looking for a body kit for my car. The best looking one that i have seen is probably the invader body kit.

Someone I know who does paint and body work for a living tells me that most body kits now days are weak and thin. I'm just trying to find a good site to order the invader body kit from that you guys think has good stuff.

Thanks

Invader = knock off Veilside kit

So fitment will never be as good as the real deal but thats the price you pay.

Best Body Kit IMO is the C-one kit.

No, its the other way around, thats why invader is 1/3 of veilside price.

And best looking bodykit would be either Varis Arising II or gt4 OEM skirts+gt4 hood+gt4 bumper+eurou or 404 lip + oem rear splitters + gt4 blocks or varis/doggy duckbill smile.gif

well it all depends on you.............what do you want??? something subtle or something that stands out but doesnt spell out RICE........lol

subtle:
ss3 or oem extensions all around with stock front bumper

stands out:
if you got $$$ GT4 everything with euro lip
on budget---invader or veilside what ever.....

or a mix of things........gt4 bumper and sides or 404 sides

with modded oem extensions..................

like i said it all depends on you!!

haha lets go ahead and clear this up again. lol I get a lot of people saying that.

I'm not leaving for Iraq. They wont let me go because my MOS (job) is very rare around this area, and they need me to stay because i'm the only one with my MOS throughout southern/central VA.

The selling part isn't going to happen. I was going to sell my 95 celica if I was getting deployed (which i'm not ^^ )

And the swap thing didn't go anything according to the plan. It was my fault because i didn't think it all the way through, and then found out the 3sgte engine I was going to get is the wrong gen. of the engine. It was the 1st gen. I didn't think that one all the way through before I did it, just got a little excited and acted like a 4 year old in a candy store. So that was my mistake, and i'll never make the same one again.

I definitly like the veilside body kit too - they both look good to me (veilside, and invader). But the GT4 body kit looks amazing too.

bigrog, do yourself a favor and research things... you are not going to get very far by asking "what, or how" you need to look things up, check out all possibilites...

as far as veil its about 600 for front, 500 for back, 400 for side...
invader is 650ish shipped...

personally i like the simple oem mods best like what i am doing or batman's car.
other than that i say go c1 front, zyclone cf hood, 404 or trd sides, trd rears, trd spoiler.
that is one sick looking car.
what supradog did on her car was amazing. you should look her up. (she's def a hottie too biggrin.gif )
personally i hate the invader/veilside/whatever else they call it.

Kinway motorsports is a US base company that imports C-one products.

A race horse with fancy hooves is still a horse from 20 yards away.
A race horse painted purple stands out like a green hat in an orange field.

JDM+Other non exotic kits look nice but 9/10 non celica owners will never know that you just spend all this time and money on whatever the kit you got.

Exotic kits aka ones that are curvy (including invader) stand out and even a person who hates cars will notice a curve ball.

Doesn't it all depend though on who you're getting your kit FOR? Are you getting it for yourself, or are you getting it for everyone else? IMHO the kit should be for yourself and the one you like best, who cares if non Celica people don't notice it? By that same theory, why bother with engine and exhaust mods if you're just gonna drive around with your hood shut? I don't know or care how long it took the dumbass speeding down the freeway to get to 85 or 90 mph!

Agreed. The external mods I do to my car are for me and other Celica people. Most people don't even know what kind of car is in front of them because the badges are gone and hatches are more common than coupes. I like that. I only want the true Celica lovers to know what car I have and what I've done to it.

sigh what I meant to say was. Every upgrade that you do is an upgrade for a reason. If you has done anything mechanically ie exhaust its there for a reason. IF you spent a 1000 just so it sounds nice then something is not right here. Another thing to consider. Yes you are driving your celica the way that you like and upgrading exterior to you liking.

when i said the thing about the horse i meant it as a metephor. By installing hard to notice upgrades you are likely to avoid conversations like duuuuuudeeee sick car.... love what you done with it.

Everyone has their own priorities but let me draw a real life example.

My swapped celica looks like crap at the moment. Its multicolored with duct tape and body parts dont match cause they are hanging with zipties till it all goes into bodyshop. 10 ft away is a honda del sol with jdm upgrades. 20 ft away is a eclipse gsx with jdm upgrades, 15 ft away is a subaru srx with shiny rims, 40 ft is a showcar dodge charger. Who do you think recieves the most attention? People floculate around my car taking pics and waiting till owner comes out to ask like 40 cajillion questions. Having had a jdm bodykit on one of my celis before and having this.... huuuuuge difference. heck even on my stock daily driver. I am being asked about my carbon fibre hood at least 3 times per day.
