So toyota made my car with front rebuildables and rear sealed ( Why, i dont know) ive heard stories of the back being rebuildable and front sealed.

here are may front ones, i decided to buy the whole deal since i read in some forums it did not matter, and some gts are running with them

the question is if you look at the pics, the place where the springs seats, is at different locations. does this have any implications for the car....

now this is my ex rear, as the new ones are already mounted.... they look sealed, so they are trash right?

The front struts you have nothing to worry about. It doesn't matter how the springs seat on the groove of the strut. Just make sure you allign the top mount with the springs. Seat the top mount groove with the springs and you'll be fine. Just toss your old set up out.
