Assuming you do it right and get springs or good coilovers and replace your stock struts if they're anywhere close to dead, your handling will be better due to a lower center of gravity and stiffer springs. My handling was much better than stock after I installed some KYB GR-2 struts and Eibach Sportline springs. smile.gif

If you get cheap coilovers, your ride will most likely be bouncy, loud, very harsh, and dangerous.

I've got a set of Eibach Sportlines on mine and love them. I highly recomend them espcially if you've got bigger wheels, it really finishes off the look.

what did the cost of the shocks and springs cost you?
Did you have to do anything to the kamber?

I'm thinking of lowering my ride too, but I'm a bit of a nooB when it comes to suspension.

all i did was get some $200 intrax 1.8" lowering springs, then i took it to tire pros and they put them on and did all the necessary stuff for $200. some people get a camber kit so the tires dont flare out but i havent noticed anything on mine. 1.8" is probably the lowest ive seen on a celica w/out using coil overs.
