So i decided that this year for christmas im going to treat myself to some aftermarket seats. I know that the stock mounting brackets wont work. So what would I have to do? Have them custom made or does Sparco sell universal mounting brackets for seats? Someone who has overcome this problem please help.

Depends on the seats I suppose.

If you buy Sparcos then purchase the Sparco rails and brackets. If you get some Bride seats then buy bride hardware.

I have a set of Corbeaus and purchased the 94-99 Celica rails and sliders. They were $100 per side and the driver's side needed a fair amount of modification to fit right.

Sparco brackets fit sparcos, momo's and most aftermarket bottom mount seats. I bought mine for $120 a side, they fit pretty much perfectly except for a few minor trims to make em fit. But if you are gonna b buyin some aftermarket seats, read this first.
Things you NEED to know
Its an article about aftermarket seats, wheels, roll cages, etc. If you buy cheap seats, they could make your car extreamly dangerous.

Yes, please don't buy cheap seats.
