ok my cousin has a 1990 celica gt auto i have a 95 celica st manual both cars are stock we never race against each other so i wanna know who do u think will win??

yea thier this place racewayy park u pay $15 for 1/4 of a mile he saids he can beat me nd he said hes not paying $15 when he knows he going to win so what do u think? 1990 gt or 1995 st

I have heard somwhere in the past that the 5th gen is faster.
And it being a gt it has an adavantage id say. -------------------- |

5th Gen are fattys. He has a bit more hp on you and if you cant launch he will probably beat you by a fender.

Manual > Automatic. Like what jdg371 said. If you can launch you'd win.

Quick Google search gave me this..
1990-1993 = 2447/2646 1994-1999 = 2395/2415 Both are calculating curb weight. The 1991 is on the higher end of the scale while the ST is on the lower end. |

the 5gen weight little more so is 2.2 (gt) vs 1.8 (st).... 5sfe (135hp) is like 2 car ahead of inanimate 7afe (110hp)

well today we went to racewayy park nd i prove him wrong i beat him in the lunch and i beat him by a 2 car length then we race on are wayy back home we started at 40 mph and i ended up still beating him but it was close

well i tried a Gen.5 GT (autotragic) Vs MY 6gc GT with my buddy at "local closed legal racing track"
