Hello everybody!
celicatech guys are having a little get-together meet at the Westminister Autobachs on 1/6/08Sunday @ 12noon. There's already possible 7-8 of them. But, everybody is a 5th gen. Who's gonna keep me company?

lol . you are right. lately that's what it seems like. last time was the body, this time it's the engine. but, almost everything is replaced now. hopefully, not that much anymore. you've got the check out the new 5sfe, lol. i can't drive over 55mph for 500 miles.

You should also give lots of time for traffic. Everytime i've had a meet at SuperAutobac's, the traffic on Beach Blvd was terrible. So all you guys are going to do is meet up at Autobac's and do your little chit chat thing?

it's about 36 miles from your place. It would take ~ 40 mins. to get there. So, how about we leave your place at 10 am? you think that's plenty to find parking spots? or do we need to leave earlier?

would Irvine Spectrum work for you guys?? they have 2 big enclosed multi story parking structures that looks great. there won't be any parking problems if we meet at noon and we'll be able to park together. Also they got bunch of stuff going on there. Movies, Dave&Busters, a lot of shopping, and restaurants. I think it would be a lot of fun there. Let me know what you guys think. If not, unless you guys have a better idea, I say let's push it out another week. Looking forward to seeing you guys.

i don't think it would be boring so, bring the gf if you can. irvine spectrum is a pretty fun place. i'm gonna try to make it more than just a simple meet. we'll meet and hang out in the parking structure first, and take some pictures. then, we'll go walk around and hang out. there's a movie theatre there, restaurants, dave&busters and a lot of shopping. she'll have fun.

for this meet i'm gonna go ahead and keep it at the Spectrum. The rain is going on back & forth, so it'll be good to be under the cover. Also, I think it'll be worth the time better if people are driving from some distance being able to hang out afterwards. don't want people to get confused on where to meet by going back and forth.

nope. no show. from 6gc it was only me and Marco. there were (5) 5th gens, (1) lexus, (1) 7th gen, and (2) 6th gens all total. I'll post pics shortly.

we hung out there for a while. got to know eachother a little and checked out the rides. the 5th gens were pretty impressive. Afterwards me, my gf, Marco, and his buddy went to D&B to have lunch and then headed to play some games. There was another meet going on outside with some muscle cars, but we decided not to go, .Later on we saw them eating at D&B. The waiter said their table was for 25. They were wearing Camaro I-Roc jackets, so i'm assuming that's what it was.

there'll be other meets; during summer though , rainy weather guess didn't work out too well. but, hey we really need some 6gc support. from what I see there are some awesome looking 6th gens in here

Hahaha I felt it was cold outside and rainy so i didn't feel like going. And my Celica is making strange engine noises like i have a bolt loose or something so i didn't want to drive it very far. I ended up cleaning my room instead .
