Hey, this is Jen's friend, lOVeYdUbb..

We were doing a compression test on her 5S-FE and we got the compression tester stuck in there. So now there's a hose sticking out of the spark plug well and now we don't know what to do.

I've googled and on a Honda forum, it said use penetrating lube a try to remove it. I was wondering if it is safe to use the PB Blaster in the spark plug well or should I just stick to WD-40.

If that doesn't work than we have to pull the head and unscrew from there kindasad.gif

PB or WD40 should be just fine. If your paranoid, then just try some motor oil.

if the hose keeps spinning, that means is not attached to the metal piece strong enough, if you have a set of really long tweezers stick them in there and try to turn it like that, cause it may not even be that tight, is just not getting enough torque to come out.

rip the hose out, jam a big phillips screwdriver in it, turn. may have to hammer the screwdriver down. the idea is to jam it into the part that spins and wedge that to the threaded part.

Go buy some really long needle nose pliers from the hardware store.

I googled your problem and found someone else on a Honda forum that had the exact same thing happen. Here's the link to the thread, it's got LOTS of suggestions:

This is a link with tips on how to avoid this in the future, some very good ideas
