When I painted my interior, I remember what a PITA the passenger air vent was to remove. As I recall, there's no real trick or anything, I just had to pull and pry on it with a tremendous amount of force. I tought it was going to break, but it didn't, maybe I got lucky, but I don't know. Anyway, good luck with that. |

Sorry, All I can do is agree. I've got my whole dash tore up and moved on from trying to undo that booger. From underneath the duct is loose and I still couldn't budge that thing

i used two screw drives on each side to pop it out, i think i did break it in the process but it still stays in place just fine but yeah it is a pain.

you have to bend the tabs a little... not pop out the entire vent in one peice... but take cover off first then take inside out
