Check this link for the front clips http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...;hl=venus+jarco . Front clips are best so you know you'll have everything you need for a swap. I'm telling you, your probably going to need more money for miscellaneous things. And please read the stickies on info on How to swap.

either a 2nd gen or 3rd gen, if you have the money 3rd gen is nice, but second gen is just fine. all depends on your power goals and bank account. i have the 2nd gen and its great. you will need to change some mounts out to get the 3sgte into an ST but its very simple

QUOTE(Chastlin @ Dec 8, 2007 - 4:54 PM) 2nd or 3rd gen ....realy ? hhmm guess i was hoping to be able to do a newer one. see i have a front clip out of a 4th gen celica with a 3sge in it ..... so i figured i could use the tranny out of that and i was hoping to get either that 94 or 97 3sgte front clip from venus auto parts sence they right around the power i looking to start out with when this is done We are talking about generation of the 3sgte engine not the generation of celica models.. a 3rd gen 3sgte is out of a 94-99 GT4 which is what you are talking about with the 94 or 97 clip. For example my car has a 2nd generation 3sgte which came out of a JDM 93' Alltrac (5th Gen celica GT4) This post has been edited by jcbass7: Dec 10, 2007 - 6:56 PM |
