theyre called freeze plugs, easy to replace if you know what you're doing but not a job for an amateur.

meh, well upon closer, much closer, look its actually leaking from the head gasket... which i've done on an Integra. so ill be doing that shortly

a headgasket is more likely. both arent too bad to do. but then again ive done a few so far. just make sure you have a Chiltons or something like it when you are doing the work.

yea. i did it all one weekend.
