2 bar map sensor, or else. thats all you really need to know. With out it, your engine will go boom shortly.

IIRC means If I Recall Correctly.

search the stickies, or one of the other 5sfte threads. IT must be posted somewhere in there.

without a 2bar map your car will hit fuel cut as soon as it sees any boost.
fish tank parts are made for fish tanks, not cars.

i have used the check valves for a while and no problems . but it does not let you tune very well with the emanage unit so the 2 bar is a must.

i've kept my stock map on my 7afe running 13psi right now.....yellow top supra injectors and SAFC....haven't ran into many problems in the past 2 years its my DD.....need to rebuild the engine now..have oil burning in the combustion chamber...pretty sure its my rings (but plan on waiting till i get a new car before i do anything major).

....theres a hose in the back of the motor similar to a radiator hose its about 4 or 5 inches and thats about to burst..(if anybody knows what i'm talking about- what is it called? or do u have a part#....i was thinking i pull it off and go to a parts store and match up a radiator hose the same size and cut it)...starter is starting to crap out....but thats under warranty(autozone ftw) ....axles knocking again ...i think i've replaced them about 6 or 7 times in the past two years....thats under warranty also(O Riley ftw) their starting to ask questions.. laugh.gif

the hardest part about giving up this corolla is all the warranty i'd lose rolleyes.gif

yes. either an internal or external wastegate. and its not the boost controller that needs one per say. without one you will boost till you turbo cant physically push anymore air. so you would be running a ton of boost... instant blow up your engine boost. so yes, you need a wastegate, regardless of mbc, ebc, or just an actuator.
