this is the last time i am going to move one of your posts.
if you cant learn to post in the appropriate forum, i will just delete your posts from now on. you need to tune your car. do you have a wideband? what are you using for tuning? i would bet your choking on fuel. what are you using for plugs now? you should be using 1 step colder than stock, gapped to ~ .028 you not having the FPR in is not the problem. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

if i was u i would not be driving that car with out have a proper tune done. Adding FI with out tuning is not smart. As all the FI guys in here will tell you..
can i ask just so we know what knowledge level you are at when it comes to FI .. How much resarche did you do before starting this project, What parts did you have? are you doing any of the work yourself? -------------------- |

yeah bigger injectors no boost = car chocking on fuel, wont hurt to much other than the spark plugs ... maybe the cat and o2 sensors, you cant just add one peice at a time when you turbo it it is all or nothing . no fuel ,then turbo, then downpipe, it needs to be all at once and then you need to TUNE IT after you install everything.

yeah, if you're running bigger injectors on the stock ECU, the ECU doesn't know that they are bigger and thus sends out the same length pulses to the injectors, even though smaller ones are now needed because more fuel comes out in the same amount of time with bigger injectors. For low throttle cruising you'll be fine, since the ECU looks at the o2 sensor and will see that you are running rich and lean it out as much as it can, but under WOT the ECU does not look at the o2 sensor at all and you will run very rich and have way too much fuel and sputter and choke at high rpms. you need to either tune the car, which would waste money because you are going to need to tune it again after the turbo is on, put your stock injectors back in until you put the turbo on (this would be the best idea), or stay under 80% throttle at all circuimstances. it has nothing to do with the spark plugs although you do need the step colder ones but they should be installed at the same time as the turbo!
