LMAO!
I want to go faster, so I'm getting a turbo civic instead of a turbo toyota? Yeah I'd like an uglier, slower car, but; oh yeah, that's retarded. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Dec 30, 2007 - 7:00 PM -------------------- |

lol, i see u guys don't like the idea, i didn't either but its gonna give me a chance to see how fast i can make it, the b16a2 at 5psi makes roughly 255whp on average, and in a 2200 pound car and if i can hock up, thats 12's all day, at 11psi which is not the safest for sotck internals its 320whp, i wanna see some 3s' which i do own at the time and am not mocking it put some numbers down like that without having to go big turbo, cause the ct26 is a fine turbo, but it can't make too much boost, i really don't know how this is all gonna go out, lol pressure 2 the mod guy doesn't seem to like me too much, thats another no one helps out to much, but i really don't care, the most badass person on here is doc tweak, hes been there every time i had a prob.

5psi on what turbo? 5psi means nothing if you don't know what turbo your talking about. On a T3/T4 5psi will not get you that power, you'll need around 8psi, and I still don't think you could get 255 crank.

lmao, are u series do ur research buddy, yes 5 psi on the b16a2's 10:5:1 compression, thats on stock internals, will put down average 255whp, don't believe me go look around at the civics running the b series motors with t3/t4 on them, plus most hatchs with either jdm h22a's or b16a2's stripped run average 13's with a good driver, i have done my research have you, i really hate acting like a asshole, cause toyota's are my fav cars, and have been a diehard fan since i was born, whole family runs nothing but toyota, and my fav car of all time is a supra, i would rather have a mk4 supra over any car on the damn planet, put it that way, how about when i get this civic i will post some dyno results, and end it at that

Agreed ^. Tuning has a big role in making those kind of numbers based on the amount of boost you're pushing out too. Just because 2 of the same cars with the same turbos are running the same amount of boost doesn't mean that one will make more power to the wheels. Why would you go out and buy an already boosted car any way? I don't want to knock you, but why not throw money into some thing thats unique? Although there are many boosted celicas on this forum, but how many do you see boosted in your city? I see boosted civics every where I go.

I'm not sure how much more reliable pushing that B16 is going to be if you plan on getting 255hp out of that turbo...but have fun with it.

I say buy the civic sell the motor and turbo set-up and build an H22 turbo hatch. Or you can jump on the bandwagon and do the k20a1 swap. Forget the 1.6 liter motor man. Think displacement.

It's not like I don't respect what you can do with those motors...I just like torque. You feel torque, you really don't FEEL horsepower.

k i understand what u guys are saying, well i was also looking at another swapped eg hatch with a jdm h22a? but the compression on that is 11:1 which is kinda high for boost, althought that motor makes 220hp and 163tq na, but i dunno will see, at least u guys still understand that i will be keeping my celi and playing with that too, aight peace

guys guys guys....just chill...
let the man build his car. the fact that there is more crap out there for hondas will give him a better understanding of what he'll need to do to the celica and make that one better. granted civics are ugly, he probably just wants to slap some parts on there and call it a day, rather than search all over the place for the celica. -------------------- ![]() |

I dont think posting a topic about any hondas here was a great idea... but hey its your money and at the end of the day u have to pay for it. So get what u want, and once u do, dont second guess it. Personally i wouldnt be caught dead in a civc hatch (ehh maybe 1 with boost, MAYBE!). Thats been kinda over done, unless u do some wild swap. But any 6th gen owner that says that don't envy the B series parts bin is lying. Thats the only reason to get a b series motor.

i dont like people who try and rip forum members off.
which is basicly what you were trying to do, listing your car for sale, without any of the problems it has. ill say it again, incase you didnt get it the first time. i dont care WHAT car you buy, if you dont build it to last (especially a honda, i know, i have one.) it wont. plain and simple. your 3s is full of problems...why? because it was BUILT that way. its not that the 3s isnt a reliable motor, they VERY commonly go 200,000+ miles, hell, ive seen an unopened 3s, with over 200K on the clock with 460+whp. its not the car, its YOU. ![]() -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

no, the 3s is a super great motor, its reliable i have no motor problems what so ever, its just i have stupid problems like my motor mounts which no one else does, and this in car shake which is probally being cause by my shot front and rear mount, either then that my car is fine, its just stupid problems like that piss me off

if that's the case why not just fix the motor mounts instead of buying a whole new car? the celi looks 100x better than any old civic. who cares if parts are easier to find. i like the fact that my car is unique. isn't that what tuning your car is all about?

i know i just order some kirkosaurus wamm inserts, i will see if the shaking goes away, but i think it might be that my axle spacers are too wide and need to be cut down, go look on my thread in the F/I section

see it's too late for you now... you are a civic fan... don't get me wrong, it's a great car, IF you know what your doing and you don't rice it out, which by the look of your celica, you will rice the civic out... you make 10 topics about the same f**king thing and when someone tells you to search you get offended, and make a new topic... I say good riddance, don't fix the celica, sell it and scram!
