I hit a gaurd rail doing at highest 60, after hydroplanning into it frown.gif. Drivers side fender is destroyed (also from a previous accident, which is why its painted gold lol friends) and my passenger fender needs to be replaced or maybe not, im really unsure its just pushing out because of the bumper. Now I would like to replace everything. The car doesnt pull in any direction which makes me very optomistic but im not quite sure if i've done any severe damage preventing me from putting a bumper and possible two new fenders on it. So i must ask the help of the fellow 6gc'ers. O_O heres some pics of the car and the damage.

you don't look to be in that bad of shape. i would get the fender off along with the bumper and take more pictures. the bar that the bumper bolts to can be replaced and bought from ebay. check your control arms underneath for damage even though you did mention it doesn't pull. to sum it up, take more pictures+tear it apart to see it from all angles.

looks like you got pretty lucky considering how much worse it coulda been. but then again we can only see the outside damage. you need to pull those body parts off to see what else needs replacing.

Yeah i'm just concerned for when i do pull them off, and the parts under the body are damaged to the point of no repair, what next you know? -_-

i had that kind of damage from when my sister wrecked my celi. the front clip was done. the crash bar needed replacing. two fenders needed dents pulled. hood was replaced. upper tie bar needed to be pulled back out. and all 4 headlights were replaced. for all the parts it cost me about $900 including the airbags and windshield. i got a good deal though because my parents own a car dealership. then to get everything put back together and painted black with silver metal flake and 5 coats of clear coat it cost me $1100 but i also got a good deal on that. so you might be looking at more just make sure your frame isnt bent.

Awesome, im trying to buy all my parts used and i am looking to actually take a loan out and take this as an opportunity to make the car the way i always wanted smile.gif

thanks guys for the feedback, as soon as it dries up here i'll start ripping it apart and get more pics.

Oh- That sucks.

I just bought my celi about a month ago because the previous owner did just that; then he called it worthless; and sold it to me for $700.

I'm still working on it; i'm not a full time mechanic; more of a "weekend repair man" if ya know what i mean. but uh- if your going to repair it yourself; let me give you a peice of advice!

When you get new headlights (junk yard, craigslist, factory, ect.) there is a bar that they bolt to; it is a Really thin bar it's bent. I almost gaurntee that it is; Make sure you get that stright; or atleast bend it to fit; and TEST the lights before you mount that bumper on. not to the wall of your garage, Test them in the driveway or something...

I had to go a week with the driver side healight illuminating all of 2 foot ahead of me... i think i hit every curb i passed...lol.
