I've got one laying around. If your looking for plug and play - it won't work. Can it be rewired - of course [pretty easily too and should fit the standard double din section].
I've got the 5 disc one if anyone wants to buy or trade for parts.

BTW - One for the above list: tC grill works with facelift bumper. wink.gif

haha woot for starting a topic to be stickied! yea umm...
pretty sure supra/mr2 steering wheels will fit too
and wasn't sure if ppl knew but some celicas came w/out a drivers airbag, its like a skinner steering wheel that also fits...
some of the engine basics...
the geo prizms w/7afe's obviously have similar engine components
some mkII mr2's, 5th gen celica gt(s) and early/mid 90's camrys have the 5sfe's

other stuff?
i'm curious as to what else from newer/older celicas, mr2's and supras will fit...

pretty much any toyota shiftknob will fit on a stick celica. I was driving a 89 Trecel yesterday at work and they have an OEM ball shiftknob thats extreamly similar to the ball style TRD knob.

I believe the ST185 fronts only work the the ST (could be wrong)
and since the GT rear fits on the ST (hubs/bearings are the same) what makes you say the St205 is GT only rear?

st205 rear brake assembly (for GT only)
st185 'dual piston' front brake assembly

I believe the ST185 fronts only work the the ST (could be wrong)
and since the GT rear fits on the ST (hubs/bearings are the same) what makes you say the St205 is GT only rear?

my bad.. i was wrong. totally forgot about the fact the gt discs can be swapped into the st.
i also looked into this a bit more, the st205 rear brake assembly won't fit in either the gt or st. the knuckle on the gt-four is different (from the awd of course), and after personally trying a set of superstrut rear shocks (the bolt pattern is narrower, only the springs and mounts work which i'm using now) and a few statements from another member explaing the e-brake components being totally different too.

Time to revive an old thread...

So, as most of us know, the front strut bar is the same as the universal 94-99 Dodge Neon. What about the rear though?
Ebay Listing
This would be pretty important for some of the users here since there are a bunch of Ebay sellers that will sell BOTH (front and rear) for $20.

pretty much any toyota shiftknob will fit on a stick celica. I was driving a 89 Trecel yesterday at work and they have an OEM ball shiftknob thats extreamly similar to the ball style TRD knob.

try the paseo shift knob, its better!!!1

I'm actually going to get one and try it out. Doesn't seem like anyone has any info on it, and since it's so cheap, I can find another use for it if it doesn't work.

If anyone has tried it already, please chime in. I'd love to hear what you have to say!

d'oh, I TOTALLY forgot about this thread! I haven't drilled the holes still, but I'm telling you, length-wise, it's totally fine. I checked that a long time ago! Here's a link to the Tanabe Racing Development web site (the one on the Tanabe site is the "generic" photo, not the actual one I have)

Here's a picture that looks like the one I have:

What I've actually done with my strut bar is I sanded down the bracket thingies (end plates) through the paint down to the metal, roughed it up some, and filled in the holes with steel reinforced putty. I packed the putty in tightly (to eliminate air pockets) and smoothed it just outside of flush to the end plates to allow for shrinking when it set. After leaving it a few days, I sanded the putty down to be flush to the end plates, so all I have left to do is drill new holes and repaint the end plates.

did anyone ever find out if the scion pioneer headunit would work in our car? i thought someone was trying it out.

The Pioneer headunit does work. The factor harness plugs in without any modification. I modified the radio face plate because I didn't want to modify the center trim piece. You need to cut aprox. 1/4 inch off of both sides of the unit.

Also, 1990-93 4 cyl. Accord CAI (two piece) works great with some minor modification.

Also e-brake hardware from 91-01 Camry, if you're cheap or in college like myself and the junkyard is your friend rolleyes.gif

headlight pigtails (high and low) from 1992-98 Pontiac Grand Am, well really any car that uses 9005 and 9006 head lamp bulbs, got mine from a grand am because the original ones had melted for a some reason

some of the engine basics...
the geo prizms w/7afe's obviously have similar engine components
some mkII mr2's, 5th gen celica gt(s) and early/mid 90's camrys have the 5sfe's

other stuff?
i'm curious as to what else from newer/older celicas, mr2's and supras will fit...

update...sorry for bringing up old thread...im going through replacing parts that are worn like the jet nose sprayer on the hood...cheaper but good or better performance parts...biggrin.gif ALWAYS a big + !!

confirmation of a better list of interchangeable parts to the data would be nice; more order

Walker and I used the washer nozzles from a Totoya Corolla (2002), works just fine, need to possibly extend the hosing, but I didn't have to.

Don't remember the part #'s, maybe he's got them somewhere... I'll ask him and get back to you.

PS these Corolla nozzles change the stream from JET to MIST (which I prefer)

From experience: A caldina fourteen inch front hub is an exact fit for the fifteen inch in the ST202 given that the rotors, brake assembly and the housing for the wheel bearing is resused.

easy way is to get some swaybars from the celica and measure... nengun may be wrong..

that's true.....but i figure it should be easier getting the TRD sway bar of the 7gc to put it to the test, im sure there's gotta be a member here who does have the 7gc with the TRD sways....anyone who does want to venture this out and test it for the community...that would be pretty cool to have these as an option.

yes People Rear Shocks from the ST182/184 Celica work on our cars. The only difference is that the brake line bracket on the 5gc shocks are a bit different and will need modifying to make it fit our brake lines.

that would be a good question?? what I can do sometime next weekend, is bring the front shocks that I have in my shed and pull off the 5th gen front shocks from the celica and meet both parts up at the entrance of the door to see if they are the same size.
