For about the past 2-3 months my car has been doing this. It only happens in the morning or when the car is cold. After that it will never happen again (until the next day).

I release the clutch (not all the way), and the car will begin to roll. When I press the gas pedal the car stutters. If I push the clutch back in it stops, when released to start going again it starts. So, is this a problem with my clutch? Or do you think my flywheel needs to be resurfaced?

Also, I have always had a problem getting the car into reverse. It will go half way but not all the way. If I release the clutch a little less than half, it will fall right into gear. This recently started happening to me when trying to put the car into first gear and I have to do the exact same thing to get it in, releaes the clutch a little and it falls right in.

Your first problem sounds like hot spots on the clutch.
They don't grab the same way the rest of the material does, so the clutch "chatters".
A slipping clutch will allow the engine to rev higher than it normally does, the opposite of what it sounds like is happening.

Your second problem sounds normal.
In our transmissions R doesn't have a synchronizer, the gears are just straight cut, which means if they're not lined up they won't slide into place. Moving the gears just a fraction of an inch allows them to slide into place.

Thanks for the reply, looks like it is probably my clutch then...As far as the reverse gear, that makes perfect sence, guess I shouldn't have to worry about that at all...

I think my car has begun to do the same thing. I've noticed it's only in the morning when its cold too. Is there anything I can do about the "hot spots" or will it remain like that until I change the clutch?

IF it is hot spots, there's nothing you can do.
They are harder [heat hardened] than the rest of the material, so you can't machine the flywheel and/or PP, or obviously the disc.

However, if it's only when it's cold I wouldn't worry about it at this point, wait and see if it gets worse.
That's a lot of work or $$$$ for a minimal problem IMO.
