Well if you just like the look but do not trust the engine, you can always go with a chevy small block engine

I agree... car's so hot but I'd probably never own one because of the rotary and getting work done on it. My sellout car I already know will be an Impreza 2.5RS.

ps. I'm a big Initial D fan biggrin.gif

Man, I need to see what this Initial D is about. I thought it was just some cheap ass anime. I didn't know it was that good. I feel like I am going to get into it by force and when I admit to liking it and getting hardcore about, you all are going to be like "HAH HAH HAH! We played a joke on you! You've been Punked!" We shall see....

The manga is the one to read if you really want to see what initial d is all about...it would be better to get the japanese ones i believe cos the english translated ones have been watered down.

You cant beat the original story from Shuichi Shieno

Sorry for hacking the thread but initial d rules.

It is called a 2-Step. Used mostly for drag racing. Basically keeps you from spinning tires off the line but dumps the extra fuel through as well. Hence why all our rotaries throw fire afterward. Above all else, a rotary will throw a fireball if you have a straight through exhaust and are running a bit rich. Good stuff for those that tailgate you.

Last time I checked I can not carry a SR across my garage by hand. The rotary however is completely different, if its blocking something you just have a person grab the otherside and you move it.

There is a guy in Christchurch (number plate norota) that has dropped an SR into an FD and lost a couple of hundred kgs in the swap, both motor and trans.

He obviously removed other things. Kg to Pounds is roughly 1kg to just over 2 pounds. So if by couple hundred Kg you mean 200kgs lost. Then we are looking at 400lbs less. wink.gif

A few guys who have done the swap have all made the same comment that the weight is close to a 13b. Which leaves the car close to its original 50/50 ratio.

I think the guy who swapped is running around making things sound better than they actually are.
