take off your bumper and remove the bolts holding down the fuse box. There should be three. You'll need to remove an extra box right in fornt of the fender behind the bumper. Meaning you will need to remove your front bumper.

hmmm...
for my 96 celica i just took out the screws holding the stock air box holding the down inside(2 screws), unhooked the hose to the engine, unclipped a tube on the side, and removed a screw on the left outside of the box far down against the frame. and it slide right off the spot that it was attached on the fuse box. i didn't need to remove the bumper or anything.... but idk, maybe your guys' 94 celicas are different then my 96... |

I didn't remove my bumper to replace my air box either...
Look around the airbox again you are probably just missing another bolt or something. |

Just yank it out of there... you might not be needing that stock airbox anymore anyway. But yeah.. look again there might be another screw holding down your box. I only removed two screws myself.

i managed to find the problem... it was 2 clips that held onto a hose on each side. All i did was break the clip and it came right off... thank good that was done...

QUOTE(bccentaur3 @ Feb 28, 2008 - 8:00 PM) take off your bumper and remove the bolts holding down the fuse box. There should be three. You'll need to remove an extra box right in fornt of the fender behind the bumper. Meaning you will need to remove your front bumper. Why would you need to do this to install unless you were doing a CAI [which is pointless anyway]? Also to get this off you just need to remove 3 bolts down underneath the driver's side 1/4panel and the wheel well splash guard. Removing the front bumper is way too much of a PITA for a simple job like this -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. You don't need to remove the bumper. Remove the clamps of the air tube, then the clips of the air box. Then remove the bolts holding down the bottom half piece of the air box. Don't forget to put back the sensor.

sorry. I was doing my intercooler piping and had to take out that extra box behind the bumper. I thought you were doing the cai set-up.
