ey guys, driving to work and i realize i have a stiff accelerator pedal so i duno whats going on. had some bad idle when i first started up, i reset the ecu and it idles a lil better. i need plug wires but i dont think that would cause a stiff accelerator..i jumped te1 n e1 in the diagnostic box and it didnt blink out anything just continuous blinking..

i had to drive to someones house in another person's car to post this..

i haven't done anything to the car recently..changed oil about 400miles ago-probably less using mobil1. coolant is fine, atf is fine, i just dont know what happend. there is no change in temp, at least thats what my guages say. no overheating or anything, just a stiff pedal. pulld my spark plugs and checkd em and they have a lil glazing, but thats it.

oh, and something hit my frikn high beam so i need a new one of those.

f*** my life.

thanks in advance.

Maybe check the throttle cable and make sure all that stuff is connected correctly.

what she said.
Rotate the throttle body manually under the hood and see if that's stiff. If it is, spray it down with carb cleaner. If it's not, then the cable is sticking somewhere between there and the pedal.
Good luck.

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.

If not try the cruise control, it runs under your gas pedal from the side of your battery.
