I swapped out my guage lights a while ago. Figured I'd post some before and after pictures.
By the way, this was using the same camera. It seems that the old lights didn't go though very good but they were bright enough to see.

I wanna say they were like $2 per bulb. Red was one of the cheaper colors.

Is the color on the gauge evenly spread? Or does it have hot spots?

Yes, I'd say it's lit up evenly. What you see in the picture is exactly what it looks like.

Which one did you use? My next interior project is probably the same as you just did.

Culpable04 has the 5way LEDs for sale in the buy/sell section. Those are the ones I used and they are very even. His shipping and prices are great too.
BTW - They won't look so orange if you put a regular 194 bulb condom over the LEDs before you install them wink.gif
