Photography Thread, No Celica Pictures Options

I know a few of us here are getting more and more into photography, so I figured I'd start a thread where we can post up some of our shots.
Some car shots are ok, but try to keep this thread Celica free and for the most part not just cars. Also, please list what camera you use!

Im just starting out, so these might not be the best, but here goes....

My dog Jack having a standoff with a squirrel about three weeks ago. I especially like this one because it's so classic Jack! He died a week ago last Friday, so this is a good one to remember him by.

New kitty we got this past weekend, unnamed as of yet. Hoping she'll be buddies with Lola, because Lola is really depressed and cries a lot since Jack died.

Ok we're going to have to take it down a notch. Pick 1 of these, since they're basically the same photo; and post that. There's 12 photos of what appears to be 1 mile of road; so we don't butcher bandwidth.

Lost an annoying amount of detail in the size reduction but oh well.


And yes, I do have an unhealthy obsession with B&W.

Yeah I used photoshop...unfortunately due to having a gigant 1920x1200 resolution monitor I can't see enough of the image's detail at 800x600 to tell how good it is...most things look crap haha.

There is a tiny bit if you really zoom in.... but nothing you can normally see. I would say the iso was perfect for the picture, lighting and situation.

Sometimes its better to get a little noise then to have a blurry picture.

i used to do that, but now i kinda like the noise look, only if its a lower lit scene
