so I can't seem to stretch my shocks...aren't they supposed to stretch and compress easily? Mine are stuck in the same place and therefore I can't even install them.

here's a pic to describe it.

Mine is stuck like that so if I put it on, my door won't come down...

you don't want them to compress too easily. otherwise they won't be able to support the weight of the door. if they are already extended as the pic shows that should be all it needs to extend since the door is up and open. i'm sure they should be fine once installed. the weight of the door (with a little pull) should make them work without a problem.
now i personally don't have the lambo doors but that makes sense to me.

you cannot compress a door shock that is not mounted to a door & hinge. There is a significant amount of pressure within the shock that is required to hold the door open. The only way of compressing it is by mounting it.

key they deffinitly not compressing at all. I've got it on the door but now door won't go down at all. They have been sitting around for a long time so would that make them super stiff?

Hmm, it's really not going down at all? Have to tried your other shock? I haven't had any problems with my shocks getting stuck in the extended position like that before. How much force are you applying to close the door?

what do you mean by that? Mine looks exactly like the pic and there is nothing on it except for these two small marks. I've put it on the door for like a day but the shock still hasn't gone down at all.

And they are both like this, messed up. Gonna take it to a autosupply shop tom and see if they know what's wrong, and buy new ones if they can't get them to work.

Actually looking at the picture, it looks like the shock is fully extended.
