Obama would need Clinton as VP to lock majority of votes for Democrat side. IMO. It's too divisive; I think the worst thing he can do is choose her for VP. He'd stand a better chance of winning if he chooses a running mate who is more moderate/conservative as a democrat. It'd be too much of a novelty IMO if there were an Obama/Clinton ticket. It'd just become a circus, and hard to take seriously I think. -------------------- ![]() |

I like him. I have to admit that i don't know a lot about him but he seems like a decent man, quite eloquent. Do you guys think he has enough experience to be president? I agree that he's quite eloquent - and more engaging than Hillary as a speaker. (I think she's really boring to listen to!) As far as experience, he actually has the same amount of experience as a senator as Hillary. I'm not so certain that being the spouse of a president qualifies a person to become president; so with that, I think they're about equal. As for Obama to McCain, well, McCain is a dinosaur, which in itself in my opinion negates his experience. I appreciate his experience, both politically and his life experience, but frankly I think that 200+ years of having stuffy old white men running this country is just getting tired and not working out so well! I couldn't be happier that Obama got the nomination. We DESPERATELY need fresh blood in the White House. I think Hillary is just another political clone/milk-toast Democrat who talks a big talk but I'm not so sure she'll actually put up. -------------------- ![]() |

I think that 200+ years of having stuffy old white men running this country is just getting tired and not working out so well! It's not that the previous presidents were all old white men, it's that most of the more recent presidents in the past are just plain not cut out for the job. I mean we have had some really good presidents in our country who were able to make alot of progress. We need that again. -------------------- |

^ this is true, but I also think it's true that our government has just gotten stale and antiquated. Enough is enough is all I'm sayin'. Throw a young white guy in, I don't care really, but I have yet to see a young white guy who is a viable candidate #1, and #2, I believe that having a Commander in Chief that is NOT an old white guy, particularly one who is female or just not-white will offer a fresh perspective that this country has been missing for a long time. The days of the 13 Colonies are long over, and while there are still regions that are predominantly white, we as a country are comprised of so much more than its white anglo-saxon protestant founders. I just think we need accurate representation of this country. 200+ years of old white guys is not a balanced representation of the people of this nation nor does it offer a balanced perspective as to the needs of this country. In my opinion, at least.

I have to say I don't like ANY of the candidates for president. So I'm 99% sure I'm not voting in November.
![]() If Hillary became president I would have moved out of the Country. What I don't understand is why we have to dwell on the past so much. Yes African Americans were slaves once. It was a long time ago and people are still holding some grudge over it. All races have experienced racism at one time or another. I mean even women were treated like inferiors and you don't see the majority of women dwelling on it. I personally hate Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson. My people built the pyramids, so I've got ya all beat where the slavery thing come into play. (just joking)
As for Obama's policies and what does he stand for? Policies on what? That's kind of vague. So here's my answer in a nutshell. Albeit this is according to his campaign; personally, I take what they all say with a grain (okay, a pillar) of salt. - Bitchslap corporate lobbyests/special interest groups (McCain w/his ties to Anheuser-Busch can't say that) - Universal Health Care (blah blah blah, we're not Canada and it's not going to work in our current system IMO, although it exists in Oregon and it works *fairly* well) - Lower healthcare costs (see above comment) - Tax cuts for us lowly middle class who make under 200k a year ![]() - Amend NAFTA among other changes to repair our miserable economy - Social Security reform, education reform, energy consumption reform I could keep going but you get the picture. I'm not going to get into details about how he plans to enact these reforms either, because that's just too long really. But if anyone's interested, I'm more than happy to supply sources so you guys can do your own research and make educated and informed decisions. It's really not just about picking the guy who isn't a stuffy old white guy as far as I'm concerned. It's about picking who I think will most likely affect change here. I genuinely and thoroughly believe in our country and our constitution. But I also believe it's been distorted and perverted to the benefit of the pockets of others. I'm just ready for someone to give our government a swift kick in the ass! I don't care if it's a Republican or a Democrat or Ralph Effin Nader (yeah, right! LOL), it just needs to happen! -------------------- ![]() |

Yeah, and if Obama becomes president, what are the Jesse Jackson's and Al Sharpton's of the world going to do? They will have nothing more to fight for - their ultimate wish came true - a black leader in the highest position. I def. prefer Obama over Hillary. Al sharpton and the mr jackson are BLOWHARDS... nobody listens to them, and they try to make an issue out of EVERYTHING! though some time with good reason, i hope they dont think theyre getting appointed anything... as for Mccain, I actually like the guy! im just worried that 1. he will keel over his first year, 2. not change anything for the better. as for ol iron britches, well i really dont know what to say about her... lagos made an interesting point about her assasination comment. that did it for me. i dont trust her, over teh course of her campaign she was up and down and back and forth on things. not consistent enough for me albeit, she is one tough s.o.b. no b.s. games under her watch (for the most part) Most black people arent holding a grudge over what happened NOT TOO LONG AGO. (just about 3 generations) its just that 40 years ago dogs were sicced on people who wanted to eat/vote/stand somewhere that they actually had the right to. or somebody is shot 41 times and reload over what police think is a gun (wallet) scars like that dont heal quick. takes a long time to get over things your grandma/mom/dad tell you they went thru, and this country is DEFINATELY on the right track! ![]() This post has been edited by easternpiro1: Jun 5, 2008 - 4:14 PM -------------------- |

McCain = Bush's 3rd term.
Hillary = Will say and do anything to get elected. Meaning the she will probably do anything she wants once shes in office. Obama = Change? Change what? Washington? Bull****. However, out of all 3 of them, I like Obama the most. I don't think hes going to do any of the things he says, but I do think that hes going to be a very inspirational president, much like JFK was. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

same. i have only watched him on tv a few times. i know a little bit, but i will probably learn alot more now that it is down to just 2. and there will be more focus on him.
all i know is that i have a good feeling about him and that he seems right for the position. -------------------- ![]() 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

This is a very exciting time for us as a country IMO, we have the potential to attempt to correct the massive amount of wrong's the current administration has done the world over, get ourselves back on track as a country (so far as health care, jobs, etc etc are concerned), show that racism, while still a factor, has decreased so much so that we could have our very first black president and yea... pretty awesome stuff.. im also hopped up on vicoden (back injury) so everything seems inifitely cooler than it normally does so weeeeee

really?! where does it say this? would like to see... ![]() In 1997 Barack Obama voted against SB-230 would have made partial birth abortions illegal and also against a 2000 senate bill which would end state funding for partial birth abortions. Why did he vote against it though? There are a lot of reasons someone could/would vote against things that actually might make perfect sense otherwise. They tack on extra bills at the end of another bill that has absolutely nothing to do with the first. So it could have been a bill to make partial-birth abortions illegal, but there was a bill attached to it that would enable people who own chihuahas to get a special pet-relief tax write off. I'm not arguing for either side here where it comes to the pro-life/right to choose debate. I'm just saying that I myself have voted against measures that I thought were a good idea or made sense, simply because the way they were worded allowed for too much ambiguity or distortion of the original intent, and that may be something to take into consideration in this case as well. -------------------- ![]() |

Whether or not the war is illegal, or we we're mislead into Iraq is insignificant at this point in time. Lets concentrate on getting the heck out of there, while leaving a stable iraqi government that can provide essential governmental needs to the people. What are you going to do, put the soon-to-be former US president on trial to be embarrassed in front of billions of people?..and the positive outcome of this is what? at the cost of what?? Why waste more tax payers dollars trying to "fix" a problem that has zero bearing on where this country is going?
A lot say Hillary is necessary to Obama's campaign, to capture the lower socio-economic demographic and because of her appeal to the blue-collar workers in key states such as Pennsylvania and Ohio. Sure, she could .. but so can a lot of other great politicians. Gov. Brian Schweitzer from Montana, a democratic governor from a historically red state, is one. But only time will tell really, and its going to be a great race. |

I'm all for voting in a black guy, too bad Colon Powell isnt running for office. What qualifies Obama to be president? Honestly, he has the least experience of all the Senators in the entire Senate. He also has the reputation of being the most liberal Senator farther left than Ted Kennedy... Many people may read this and think I blindly support John McCain. To be honest, I dont like the guy. He goes along with whatever the public wants him to say. He is extremely maliable when it comes to public opinion. He is a weak person when it comes to holding onto his "values" Take his pastor and "father figure" Jeremiah Wright.... He says that he has been following him for 20 years blah blah blah...... when the fiasco came down about his pastor saying such negative things he said I will not disown him for what he said he is my friend of many years blah blah blah... This is not history being made by nominating a BLACK man, this is a mistake being made by nominating the WRONG man. Sadly there is no good candidate up for election this term... I hope for the sake of the country Obama loses.... but at the same time I kind of hope that he wins so every one can see how they voted for someone who is not qualified for the job for the sake of "making history" I understand that black people want to see a black guy go so far and lead the country to greatness. But why does it have to be this guy.... I just dont understand why people think he is so extremely qualified for the job. If someone can give me 1 good reason why he is well prepared for this job I will shut up.... but I cant stand by and hear the BS of "history being made" it shouldnt matter that he is black..... yet people keep making that an issue.... I to like McCain for the fact that he sticks to what he believes, but that doesnt mean that I like him on all things, and like you said, and I agree with you that, he is not so hot on a lot of policies.... I think we can ALL agree there is no good candidate this election. The way I see it.... in the next 4 years america is going into the sh*thole.... by that I dont mean america will crumble, what I mean is, the war will end in tragedy the economy will continue to tank, gas will still sky rocket in price, all will be blamed on whomever is in office at the time. It will suck to be the next president. I am getting sick of people attacking Obama over stupid stuff... although I dont agree with Obama on anything, I personally can not care less that Obama doesnt wear a flag pin on his lapel... Who cares about that.... We need to view the candidates on substance and their stance on crucial economic issues... Also, please understand I am not attacking you by asking this, but.... What about Obama can we "be inspired and proud of to call our president." as you say. again, I am not trying to make an attack by that... What I am trying to show is, if an attack is going to be made on someone (in hopes of hurting their candidacy) it needs to have some sort of merit to the comment. For someone who wants to drastically change the US healthcare system, it seems to me he doesnt know too much about medicine when he gets off his teleprompter.... what I was trying to say about "people attacking him over stupid stuff" that goes for any political candidate.... I do not like Obama, that being said, I dont think him NOT wearing a flag pin on his shirt has anything to do with anything. I think for the media to want to bash him for chosing not to wear a flag pin is childish. When I hear attacks like that it makes me think I am back in my 7th grade student council elections where people would say "would you vote for a man who doesnt go to our school football games.... he choses to play video games rather than support our school" What the hell man... what I am trying to say is... the attacks on candidates need to be attacks on their poor choices of policy, or poor thoughts on economic changes. When a candidate gets attacked it is supposed to show why that candidate is not fit for the office. Saying dont vote for him because he doesnt wear a flag pin is like saying dont vote for him because he is a doodie head.... /End Rant - Matthew |

My point being that I would hate to see this whole catastrophe dragged out any further. Will McCain be a sequel to Dub? Honestly, I doubt it, but I read conflicting stories on that. But why does it have to be this guy.... I just dont understand why people think he is so extremely qualified for the job. If that were the case, Jesse Jackson would've been president long ago. Hell, maybe Al Sharpton too. (god forbid on both!) I disagree that Obama is a mistake... but it's so early, who knows. The same can be said for McCain, too, don't you think? I thought early on that John Kerry would make a good president. Then he folded and ran off like a little bitch. Boy was I wrong, and for as much as I hate Dubya, I can honestly say that I think Kerry would've done way the hell worse. So all in all, we're left with the following (to draw from something you said earlier): try to vote for the person you think is the least doodiest head of them all. Because IMO in the end, they'll all crumble when the teleprompter is off, they'll fold when backed into a corner by public opinion. That's why they have "advisors". I try to surround myself with facts and vote for whomever is closest to what I think is good for the country. you seem to be very educated on the situation at hand as well and at least we both agree there really is no good candidates this term lol. The way I see it is, whomever wins, can only get a maximum of 8 years in the office.... we will survive whomever is in office, it will just suck for 8 years if the person who wins is not who we like. Voting for a president in this country is like picking which turd you want to smell for 4 years out of Dog, Cat, or Human. You would hope you can pick something pleasant, but instead you try to choose the lesser of the most unpleasant. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204

politicsareevil, i was wondering where youve been! great add on! while i partly disagree with the statement that people are only voting for him because he's black (although some black folk are under the false impression that this is some sort of liberation by obama being nominated) I agree with you that we need to scrutinize this guy. now that there are mainly 2 front runners, i can be more desicive. hillary was distracting alot of people. Obama is an intelligent guy as are teh rest of the canidates, but what worries me most is that there are outsiders attempting to make mountains out of molehills for the specific intent to distract voters from REAL issues. thanks for bringing to light some of his faults, because alot of people are just blindly following whoever is leading their chosen party. its a shame...im beginning to think the brits are right about american intelligence

Well I will say thanks to you too for being so kind to my words. By me saying people are only voting for him because he is Black, I do not mean all people.... but I do mean the people who say this is amazing electing a black man... it is great to me that color (obviously) is not holding him back. I too am proud of him for coming so far. I will admit just so everyone knows. I AM WHITE... Irish/Italian/German/Norwegian..... I'm about as white as they come.... that being said I dont want my comments to be taken as racist. BUT... If I were black, I would want to make sure the "first" black party nominee/president would represent my demographic well. As much as I hope that people dont vote for him "because" he is black, it will be very crucial for him to be a great leader because they will be a lot of scrutiny against him because he is a far cry from what we are used to. The sad part is there are a lot of racist people in this country. There are black people racist against white people who will vote for Obama simply for the reason that he is black and they can now stick it to whitey. Conversely, there are a lot of racist white people who will be waiting to attack and say i told you so at his every mistake. This will be a weird election and I hope it all goes well. But I see a lot of criticism for either party coming hard either way the election falls. Let this be a warning for everyone.... in the time of our next president: The war will be in shambles... Lives will be lost. The economy will be broken The dollar will still be losing value. The gas prices will still go up. We will still survive. We are America, a nation of diverse and strong people. No matter what color person is elected we must all support our president for the betterment of our nation as a whole. If you do not like a policy or action that is made... speak up. Call your congressman... Make your voice heard. We are in a time of divide before the election. We need to work together after the election. Without unity of the two parties none of my afformentioned items will get better... They can not fix themselves. We need to let our policy makers know BEFORE THE ELECTION that we want our economy to strengthen, we want our energy independance, and we want to STOP being so DAM worried about how the rest of the world likes us. Quit selling this country off to other nations and lets try and build our economy back up as ONE nation... Not two feudal parties... - Matthew |

Right, how dare he try to encourage bilingualism in America. Other countries most people know English as well as their native language, but here why should we put any effort into learning another language? We don't even have a national language.
Nevermind his foreign policy, budget plans, and domestic outlook, he wants people to learn another language! That really burns me up! Typical American; thinking the entire world should cater to you. -------------------- |

Obama thinks America should learn spanish. That being said, I'd vote for anyone against him. I am all for everyone learning another language. It would help everyone to culture themselves by learning another language. The problem I have with Obama on this point is that he wants us to learn spanish to accomidate the illegals swarming in this country. I live in houston Texas. We have so many illegals its not funny. The problem is you cant tell off hand who is illegal and who has just chosen not to speak english. This is America. If you want to live here.... speak english when you are trying to get things. Anyone who thinks its ok for us to accomidate people by learning spanish to ease their transition, I DARE you..... try this. Go to france and try and order something in American English. Good luck getting service. And watch out for the "its for a cop" burgers. America is trying to be turned into a nation of appeasers. This is BS. I truly believe if you are not in a country ofyour own, try to speak their language as best you can. Here in houston, spanish speakers dont even try to speak english. They just speak spanish and look at you like you are stupid when you dont respond in spanish. That being said.... I cant stand Obama.... His stance on everything has flip flopped so much and people still follow him in droves. I think the language we should truly learn is the language of the sheeple that flock behind him... BAAAAAAAAAAAAAA maybe then there can be some sense spoken into them. - Matthew |

I really don't care who gets elected for president. Cause for the past few presidents, I really think that any of them would be better than the last. Hell, I don't care if John Stewart ^ gets elected. I personally like Steve Colbert better though...

Typical American? You should watch whom you say that to. I am MOSTLY IRISH and SIOUX NATIVE AMERICAN. I have more of a right to have my stand on his idiocy than you do,sir. So guess what? AMERICA was built by who? The IRISH,ITALIANS and FRENCH. They've all adapted very well and english is our centralized language. Just because some moron hasn't come out and printed "HEY,IN AMERICAN ENGLISH IS THE NATIVE LANGUAGE,K,THNX,BI" doesn't mean it's not. I've traveled different countries and I have been to 3rd world countries and seen first hand gates to hell...most of them are surrounded by fear and ignorance. Ignorance is believing your government or your religion will save you from starvation, rape, and death. I work in Southern,NH... I am a few hours from the Canadian border and 20 minutes from the car theft capital of the world...Lawrence,MA I am SO sick and tired of people that obviously aren't citizens coming up to me and speaking spanish just because my skin is dark. I just want to be like...."Hey,if I had a freakin shamrock and a dream catcher tattooed on my forehead would you be dumb enough to do that!?"...The answer is probably not. But,what pisses me off to no end is when they act like it's MY fault that I don't speak spanish and start with an attitude and swear about me to their friends in spanish. How rude. So,yea,Let Obama open the borders and have more disease and STDs in the country. There is a REASON when you,"Americans", go to Mexico they tell you NOT to drink the water! And FYI, I have nothing against anyone who is Spanish or Spanish-American as long as they have done it the right way and don't think I should cater to them. At my work I work with guys from Guatemala, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic...they are REALLY hard working guys that will do anything for you...Do you know what THEY say about Obama and the whole America should learn spanish thing? ... They think it's BS too! They said,we came here and we got our citizenship and we learned the culture of the native people and how to speak english because english is the language of work and money. Also, maybe someone should tell OBAMA that we are not all ages 5-13 so guess what? Learning something that in depth is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN...we're past our spongy learning ages. This is the type of crap that starts civil wars. On a second note...Bush was protected for years from any assassination attempts because he let people have guns and thought it was cool. Ignorance breeds ignorance and there are still people who hate because of color of skin and believe me...Obama,even if he does he elected into office, would stand more of a chance swallowing darts than staying alive the entire year. -------------------- ![]() |

Perfectly Stated. See learning spanish is not the issue here. "everyone should learn spanish" is a F*cking talking point. It sounds good when he says it. The fact is, we speak english here. All these people who work their ass off here have worked hard to learn this language and adapt to us... yeah I said it adapt to us. You know US the people WHO LIVE HERE. Just because it isnt a law that English is our national language, doesnt mean that we should up and change it because we have 20 million illegal immigrant who are to ignorant to learn the language. Im sorry if I was going to illegally move to a country, the first thing I would do is learn the language. Kinda try not to stick out like a sore thumb. The whole speak spanish issue goes hand in hand with open borders. But here is the count. Open Borders BORDERSSSSSSSSSSSS See the S at the end that in american english make a word plural. Oh yeah did we already forget that we have 2 borders. Ok so heres how I see it. America Speaks English. Canada (the other border) speaks French and English Mexico speaks only spanish. Thats English 2 - Spanish 1 hmmmmmmm Should we force canada to speak spanish too? if the mexicans come here its only a matter of time before they continue their free ride into the land of universal healthcare. Dont even start with me about "boo who wah wah cries..... You think americans are elitist who should never learn another language" Well I am about to give away my secret. The Illegals here will flip out. I speak spanish. OMG did he just say that GASP. Yeah. I speak spanish, but I will never utter a word of it to someone who comes in this country and tries to come to my work and have me help them in their native tongue. Oh heres one more, for all of us american ELITISTs..... Languages I speak..... Spanish Sign Language French German and Conversational Mandarin Chinese..... This coming from an American who wants everyone to learn english..... Oh and.... If English wasnt so important like people want to act like it is..... Why is it the international language of business. Why in Germany are the children put through 8 years of English....? Hmmm thats odd. Maybe the Germans should learn spanish if Obama gets Elected. Wait I have an Idea that might help turn around the economy. Everyone buy stock in the printing companies of "how to learn spanish" books. If Obama gets elected I can see their stock going waaaaaay up real quick. - End Rant |

Where did you hear obama say that he wants people to learn spanish?
Thats the first time I've heard of it. Does Obama himself speak spanish? I know Bush does. Keep in mind that there is a ton of propaganda going on. Especially by people like Fox News, that just twist every word or statement into something that its not. So if you ever hear something like that, research it yourself to see if its something that was taken out of context or not. No candidate is going to be perfect. If he really did say that, I dont agree with it, but at the same time, you have to look at the other good things that he is trying to do. I think he would be a hell of a lot better then McCain on the economy, and foreign policy and to that Im willing to say, muchos gracias senoir. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

You hear what Obama just did? He was going to "visit the troops" overseas but when he found out he couldn't bring his news crew he went to go play basketball instead.

Dear all you Obama lovers,
Looking for Truth TERRY ANDERSON, A BLACK LOS ANGELES TALK RADIO HOST, WENT DOWN A LIST OF THINGS SENATOR OBAMA HAS SAID THAT ARE NO'T EXACTLY CORRECT. Tuesday, May 27, 2008 Obama's Not Exactlys Obama's Not Exactlys: 1.) Selma March Got Me Born - NOT EXACTLY, your parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 - Selma had no effect on your birth, as Selma was in 1965. (Google' Obama Selma ' for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles about its various untruths. ) 2.) My Father Was A Goat Herder - NOT EXACTLY, he was a privileged, well educated youth, who went on to work with the Kenyan Government. 3.) My Father Was A Proud Freedom Fighter - NOT EXACTLY, he was part of one of the most corrupt and violent governments Kenya has ever had. 4.) My Family Has Strong Ties to African Freedom NOT EXACTLY, your cousin Raila Odinga has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007, in Kenya . It is the first widespread violence in decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo Oba ma, is Odinga's follower. You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone. Check out the following link for v erification of that....and for more. Obama's cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get Sharia Muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers have burned Christians' homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter.. Obama SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started. Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get. No one wants to know the truth. 5.) My Grandmother Has Always Been A Christian - NOT EXACTLY, she does her daily Salat prayers at 5am according to her own interviews. Not to mention, Christianity wouldn't allow her to have been one of 14 wives to 1 man. 6.) My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed' in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama. Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya , his father's family was mainly Arabs.. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro). 7. ) I Never Practiced Islam - NOT EXACTLY, you practiced it daily at school, where you were registered as a Muslim and kept that faith for 31 years, until your wife made you change, so you could run for office. 4-3-08 Article 'Obama was 'quite religious in Islam'' http://www. wnd. com/index. php?fa=PAGE. view&pageId=60559 8.) My School In Indonesia Was Christian - NOT EXACTLY, you were registered as Muslim there and got in trouble in Koranic Studies for making faces (check your own book). February 28, 2008. Kristoff from the New York Times a year ago: Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it'll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as 'one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset. ' This is just one example of what Pamela is talking about when she says 'Obama's narrative is being altered, enhanced and manipulated to whitewash troubling facts. ' 9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian - NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you could speak the language. 10.) Because I Lived In Indonesia , I Have More Foreign Experience - NOT EXACTLY, you were there from the ages of 6 to 10, and couldn't even speak the language. What did you learn except how to study the Koran and watch cartoons. 11. ) I Am Stronger On Foreign Affairs - NOT EXACTLY, except for Africa (surprise) and the Middle East (bigger surprise), you have never been anywhere else on the planet and thus have NO experience with our closest allies. 12. ) I Blame My Early Drug Use On Ethnic Confusion NOT EXACTLY, you were quite content in high school to be Barry Obama, no mention of Kenya and no mention of struggle to identify your classmates said you were just fine 13.) An Ebony Article Moved Me to Run for Office - NOT EXACTLY, Ebony has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist. 14.) A Life Magazine Article Changed My Outlook On Life - NOT EXACTLY, Life has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist. 15.) I Won't Run On A National Ticket In '08 - NOT EXACTLY, here you are, despite saying, live on TV, that you would not have enough experience by then, and you are all about having experience first. 16.) Voting 'Present' is Common In Illinois Senate NOT EXACTLY, they are common for YOU, but not many others have 130 NO VOTES. 17.) Oops, I Misvoted - NOT EXACTLY, only when caught by church groups and Democrats, did you beg to change your misvote. 18.) I Was A Professor Of Law - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE. 19.) I Was A Constitutional Lawyer - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE. 20.) Without Me, There Would Be No Ethics Bill - NOT EXACTLY, you didn't write it, introduce it, change it or create it. 21.) The Ethics Bill Was Hard To Pass - NOT EXACTLY, it took just 14 days from start to finish. 22. ) I Wrote A Tough Nuclear Bill - NOT EXACTLY, your bill was rejected by your own party for its pandering and lack of all regulation - mainly because of your Nuclear donor, Exelon, from which David Axelrod came. 23.) I Have Released My State Records - NOT EXACTLY, as of March, 2008, state bills you sponsored or voted for have yet to be released, exposing all the special interests pork hidden within. 24.) I Took On The Asbestos Altgeld Gardens Mess NOT EXACTLY, you were part of a large group of people who remedied Altgeld Gardens . You failed to mention anyone else but yourself, in your books. 25.) No One on my campaign contacted Canada about NAFTA - NOT EXACTLY, the Canadian Government issued the names and a memo of the conversation your campaign had with them. 29.) I Am Tough On Terrorism - NOT EXACTLY, you missed the Iran Resolution vote on terrorism and your good friend Ali Abunimah supports the destruction off Israel . 30.) I Want All Votes To Count - NOT EXACTLY, you said let the delegates decide. 31.) I Want Americans To Decide - NOT EXACTLY, you prefer caucuses that limit the vote, confuse the voters, force a public vote, and only operate during small windows of time. 32.) I passed 900 Bills in the State Senate - NOT EXACTLY, you passed 26, most of which you didn't write yourself. 33.) His name is Swahili. The translation for "blessed" in Arabic is Mubarak. Barack's name is clearly not Mubarak. Secondly, it is the Quran. And it is misspelled a number of times in this post. This post is so ignorant. And I must ask what is so wrong if Barack did follow the Islamic faith? Whats wrong with the Islamic faith on the whole? -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊
