www.jgstools.com/turbo

get an oil feed line kit and an oil return line kit for your car and that turbo.

that will take care of the oil you will need.

the turbo should have come with an internal wastegate and an actuator. provided that you hook it up the turbo will boost to its stock levels, which i think is 8 psi if you got it from an alltrac.

my wastegate actuator is set to 4psi(adjustable from 4psi to 8psi), but i have a turbo xs boost controler which will allow me to adjust it to 12psi over what the adjustable actuator will allow me to go. i also have an electronic actuator and i will hook up which will pull the wastegate open when ever i flip the switch. it will save me some gas when i dont really want the added power and it should let the turbo run a little cooler.

i recomend that you run some sort of intercooler. for my setup, i am temporarily running an eclipse side mount intercooler. also, you will have to run either a check valve setup for your map sensor or get a 2 bar map sensor from i think an mr2 turbo(not sure where people get them.) also, it would be good to get header wrap and wrap up the DP to keep the under hood temps down, you could also wrap the turbo in it.

i know that you have a GT but if you have more specific questions go ahead and PM me.

Things I know I need for basic set up:
1. 3sgte exhaust manifold
2. 3sgte oil pan
3. 3sgte downpipe
4. CT26 turbo (supposibly running well)
5. Piping from turbo to throttle body
6. Intake filter
7. custom pipe from the downpipe to the exhaust

Do I really need a MAP sensor?

How do I control the boost? thats waht i dont under stand?

The turbo has a wastegate on it which, if working properly, should control the boost. You could also buy a MBC to control it.

Boost controlers go in the hose between the turbo and wastegate actuactor. What a BC really does is trick the wastegate in to thinking there is less boost going to it and there fore delaying the opening of the wastegate.

i havent heard of that problem with low boost settings but,

$90 will get you a walbro 255lph fuel off of ebay.

that will support up to 500hp

the burien toyota turbo kit only includes larger injectors and not a new fuel pump. your options are new fuel pump and FMU with maybe an SAFC(2) or new injectors and SAFC(2).

to start off you really should get an FMU. it is simple to install and should work well at the stock boost your turbo will make.

i have an FMU and an SAFC2. i will be getting a new fuel pump in a few weeks and injectors later this year. that is really the best setup your could go with. i will not be running more than 4-5psi untill i get the new fuel pump installed.

Man you could find a omplete 3sgte for less then 1000 dollars, alot cheaper then if you buy all the parts to turbo a 5sfe and more potential aswell. I know its the easy way out but I think its the smartest way, then you'll have alot of after market support aswell.

Just wanting something a lil faster and different around here.
