hi, i was wanting to change the muffler on my 94 st, i cant really afford a full exhaust conversion, so basically all the same pipes till it reaches the muffler.
,, i just want a decent not too ricey sound, at a cheap price ( not ebay junk cheap though) also im not going to be able to weld the muffler in because i dont have the equipment to do that, but the process i think would not be time consuming and pretty damn easy. can you guys give me an average on what theyll charge for installation |

Most everyone who I've talked to who has any sort of an exhaust system on their sixth generation Celica likes it and says it sounds great, so I think you'd be fine with pretty much any universal exhaust made for an import car.
As far as installation goes, it costed my friend $30 to have his stock exhaust chopped off and his new exhaust muffler welded on. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Get a magnaflow universal exhaust. Starts of deep and gets deeper as they age.

Well I had a 2.5 custom catback with an arospeed muffler on it and it sounded really good. Everybody that saw the car loved it.

I have a ractive exhaust and it sounds great, it also has a silencer that came with it, thats if you think its too loud. I thought the deep tone was perfect.

In my opinion any decent quality canister style exhaust is to my liking. However, if you want a deeper sound just get yourself a bigger muffler with more insulation. Canister styles have less insulation and tend to be much louder...only problem is with a header, one cat and a canister muffler...my car took on a Honda sound.
