When I first got my celica I put a Kicker L5 in the trunk with an MTX MXA8001 amp and a Tsunami 1.2f Cap. I have to admit that this speaker bumped. One day I pulled up to a stop light and the dude next to me was bumpin some mexican flows, I wasn't gonna have this. After knocking my system I looked over at the guy and he shut his window (LOL). The light turned green and I slowly rolled through. Next thing I know I get this awful smell and smoke starts pouring out of my trunk....I blew the kicker
After doing that I sold the amp, cap, and kicker box. A couple of weeks later I purchased a 12" kicker comp and got my hands on a soche amp (cheap brand walmart sells)...This sub couldn't even compare to the L5. This last weekend I got my hands on a pair of 12" MTX Thunder 7500 and an old school kicker amp....I think these might hit harder than that L5, could be just me though. Anyway, here are some pics of my install, let me know what you guys think or if you have any suggestions. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- ![]() |

I personaly think it looks like a "mess" with all the visibel wiring, but it's a good start.

![]() ![]() I personaly think it looks lika a "mess" with all the visibel wiring, but it's a good start. Atleast he's taken steps to conceal his wiring a bit. I personaly have never used wire wraps on *my* setups. (then again i've always had everything zip*tied and carpeted over. ![]() ![]() But it looks nice and loud! and that's the way it should be ![]() ![]() Otherwise, Good Job ![]() -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! Yeah I thought the same way about the wires but keep in mind that the rear piece that covers the hatch is never going to come up. Also, the way that I wanted to mount the amp it would be pretty hard to hide ALL the wires. You guys should have seen it before....what a mess

I think you better have a damn good lock on your garage and a kick ass alarm on your car if you intend to leave that amp in the back window. Other than that - I dig it.
