sorry, you can't import it unless it's 25 years old (u.s. laws)...

Japan-Partner is a legit importing comp. They are good actually one of the best. Sadly though like mentioned above. You can't import any of these amazing cars until they are over a certain age. Although I have seen people here where I live drive RHD R33 GTR & RHD Integra Type R and they are fully registered and insured. I just never knew them to ask them how they did it. I've also seen many RHD cars in the car shows out here they have NY, RI, NJ & PA plates on them.

As far as a GT-4 goes there is no easy way to get it here. But if you are looking into somthing that was also imported here it is alot easier as long as it has the same engine type and certain mods are made so that it meets usdm standards for smog and safety. Almost 3 years ago now my cousin imported a mid 90's supra and had a local shop do some work so that it met usdm safety standards but still ended up saving a nice chunk of change.

Good luck and if you find a way to get a GT-4 into the US let me know how cause I will do the same smile.gif

this topic has been covered numerous times. However, I believe you can import a car from Japan if you import it to Canada first. But they don't allow any 6gc's like a ST205 to be imported until I think may 2009. (15 yr age req)
