For anyone in the MI/OH/IN Area!, event that needs more support!! Options

well this is a little backround. My car club, Ioxus Racing, just got our sponsor not long ago, AutoXtasy Motorsports. The other club they sponsor, Project A-Spec, is sponsoring a big event out in Clio, MI at AutoCity Speedway. (its off of I-475 at exit 125). Its called SpeedDrift Drift Battle and Show. It consists of time attack style road racing, street style drag racing, drifting contest, air and hydro contest, burn out contest, and the main show. Other things include stunt bikes bikini contest (although those girls probably need to mad insane to do that in october) and more. the event is one day, October 11th, time is from around 12-8PM. spectator fees are 5 bucks and to enter is 30, you can pay at the door, although Project A-Spec would like for you to notify them if you are going to enter. My car club is sending 2-4 cars out to enter in the show and possably 1 to race. It would be awesome to get some more 6gcs out there and support the 1st of hopefully many of these events! I can head up any arrangements if we want to get a hotel and maybe set everyone up on the same floor or something, ill see what we can do about age limits and stuff, im sure theres a place out there somewhere that would allow 18 and up to get rooms. if not we'll work something out. lemme know if anyone is really interested and we'll go from there!

yea celica is probably going to be it unless it sells, if the car sells (on ebay right now) and i have time, im gunna run out to PA and pick up my MR2 and enter that in the time trials and show (wont drift though, no experience + MR setup = Bad things). if the celica doesnt sell on ebay im going to enter it with a for sale sign and hope i get some intrest. and if it does sell and i dont have time to get the MR2, then i guess ill just be there workin my ass off helpin my friends cars, meeting the project A-spec people, and workin things out with my sponsor. if you guys want we can all meet up with my car club and drive there togeather. the event is like 5 minutes north of flint, which is where im going to school, i figure it would be really cool if we could get everyone to meet up at great lakes crossing mall in the morning and drive up togeather, check in time is 12:30, so i figure get everyone at GLC at like 10:15 or so then drive up togeather. its up to you guys though. lemme know.

all you do for out-of-staters to get to Great Lakes Crossing all you do is take I-75 north to the Baldwin North exit (second baldwin exit) then take a right and GLC will be on your left (its just a big mall). and if you were going to go streight to SpeedDrift then take I-75 north up to flint, then I-75 will split and 75 will go one way and the other side will be I-475, take 475 to exit 125 (Mt. Morris Rd.). Take Mt. Morris Rd. East (should be a right most likely.) take that to saginaw st. turn left and it will be on the left, pretty simple.

I am bringing the eclipse for sure...just got back the wiring from ELP for the 3s-gte and had the block to the machinist to bore it to 2.2 liters.

ok heres the deal: were meeting at Great Lakes Crossing Mall at 11:00 AM. We will meet in the first lot, go in the first entrance on the left after you cross the bridge over the highway, there should be a McDonalds on the side of the entrance. stay in the Right lane and turn right at the stop sign. make the first left into the parking lot and thats where we'll meet up at and drive to Clio from there. we wanna leave there by 11:30 just because we dont know how traffic will be because we have to take back roads to get past the I75 construction. this week and next i will kinda scope out how traffic is moving and how long it takes and stuff... so if the times change i will let you know.

as of right now, im not even sure i will have a car period, a guy may buy my car from Buffalo, and if he comes and picks it up before the show, i wont have time to get the MR2, and it looks like i'll be riding in my friend Nick's eclipse, unless hes got his chick with him lol, then im cruising in the probe GT w00t lol
