For all you auto guys out there who didn't think shift knobs were an option.... they are!

Levoc makes a really sweet set of shift knobs that work REALLY well, also, there are many universal shif knobs out there.

I was hesitant about doing this at first because the overdrive button. DO IT, there are no problems with it, just get any old shift knob that looks good, and rewire the OD button.

I have a levoc with a OD button, so I don't have this problem... BUT you can take the button out of the stock shifter, and mount it anywhere, I promise.

I can put the palm of my hand on my shifter and throw it down to secon. It is set just so it won't go into first, but will hit second. It SO rocks, I now have just a little taste of what it's like to have a manual.

Auto shift knobs= a very good thing. If you have any questions about doing this, just ask.

Heres a complete transformation on an auto 7th gen. IMO the shift knobs make an auto look less bulky and out of place. The whole car is sleek, then it has that werd hammerhead shaped shifter. wink.gif

Mine's carbon fiber like the one pictured! Also, I am checking on getting a shift boot to make it look like a manual.

FallenHero...you should post a How-To on how to change the automatic shift knob for our cars. Many of us could figure it out through trial and error, but why not do us all a favor and give us the right instructions so we don't mess anything up. Pretty please! bowdown.gif

Well, I'm glad you finally got my shift knob to work on your car. I knew you could do it. Makes me feel good about myself to see you so happy! Hehe...and yes, why don't you write up a "How-to" on it...that would be very interesting. Hehe. Take it easy.
