Need help setting timing, i have a 96 celica 1.8 l (7afe) Options

I have the crank pulley notched at 0 degrees an the cam gear set at "U" (the first cylinder is TDC), not sure if this is right as per haynes manual..any help much appreciate..

You'd get better results if you put this in the "engine" section where it should be.

its wants to start but just keeps cranking,`nah i havent tried any other manuals, i was just wondering if any one on here ever did one before.Ive heard from people that the haynes books sometimes are wrong

Yeah I guess directing someone to an entire forum dedicated to engine & performance shows my true colors.

have u taken out ur plugs and cleaned and gaped them??and checked ur wires and distributor??

it could also possibly be fuel...
