Convertible top lift arms, also called top rails:

I need to buy a good passenger (RH) side arm. Actually only the rear section needs to be good.

WILL PAY $25 for info leading to purchase. If you see a vert in a junkyard or being parted in your local Craigslist or elsewhere, let me know.

Will also buy an entire top with canvas, rear window and everything if in near mint condition and within 500 miles of Detroit.

I need to buy a good rear section of the passenger (RH) side arm.

I am selling the middle and/or rear sections of the the driver (LH) side arm.

Will trade.

I think I can find one at a salvage yard but their prices are $350.00 to $400.00

That's the price for an entire convertible top: both arms, bows, header, latches, canvas, etc. I found several. Some yards will only sell the complete unit. And most won't pack & ship - too bulky and expensive. The smart ones can make more money selling individual pieces.

I bought the driver side lift arm from a yard in Houston for $100 plus $25 shipping. All 3 sections are good. They had already sold the pass side arm.

I'm willing to pay up to $125 for the pass side arm, plus shipping, plus the reward. And only the rear section needs to be good.

if you take a picture of the part you want / need, I can go and check, there is a black GT automatic convertible on a local yard, the car was pretty much complete except for the front bumper, but I have no clue of what the part you're looking for looks like. so take a picture and I'll do my best to help you out.

Congratulations man! No worry, I can wait.

Thanks to those who helped with various tips, so far nothing panned out. Still looking.

Also considering a complete top with the frame, canvas and rear curtain/glass all in one piece. But only if in perfect condition. And must be within 300 miles of Detroit or must be willing to ship. I found a couple in junkyards but they don't ship and I ain't driving 2000 miles for one.
