I saw the premiere episode and nearly vomited. It's ridiculously over the top. The original one was campy, but cool. This one the car turns into an F150? Excuse me, wtf is that ****? It turns into some ridiculous winged 377mph capable car!?! What, what? 377mph?

Again, 377mph!?!?!?!

Edit: Ok I actually just vomitted recollecting the show.

I wasn't actually watching it too but Yan caught my attention and for a minute there I was trying to remember where I saw him. Yea it was a crappy show, I didn't even bother finishing it up. Seriously, the car turned it to a F150? LOL

Dude, you're SO busted, you were SO WATCHING IT!!!! YOU HEART MICHAEL KNIGHT!!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I loved that show the first time around... The Hoff and his fluffy-ass mullet... LOL! I was like 9 though, so it's okay. Plus I really liked that his car talked to him.

The original show was the sh!t! I'd still watch it. Mr. Feeny as KITT, Hoff is the man, the car was actually cool looking.

Mr. Feeny, that's so true! LOL!!!!

You have to admit though that by today's standards, that red light thing on the front of KIT (KIT's heartbeat... how sweet) that went back and forth was pretty gay.

Exactly... back then it was awesome. I thought it was totally cool. Seeing it today though, feels a little "Walmart Honda-ish" to me. But it'd be SO awesome to actually own the original KIT - that'd be a great collector's piece. Maybe Leno should start a TV car collection to add to the Harleys!

Dude! The kid from that movie that got the beef stew.......... Lives in my city! I met him, because a chick I was talking to has him as her neighbor. His name is Max Prado and he is working on a tv series. He really talks like that with the *gasps* in between his speech. Cool kid. But he got much skinnier and taller since then. He is on my myspace too. I haven't talked to him that much since I stopped talking to that chick, but we all went out for pizza and her dad said he thought I was really cool. Then again, anyone older yet younger might seem cool to a kid. I dunno. But that's crazy. LOL

dude dont you remember how crazy the old knight rider was? It had TURBO! and trajectory control and other crazy gizmo. If you think about it, the producers just wanted to add more crazy stuff to keep with the trend of the show. I bet people back them threw the BS flag all over the show when it first came out, and it would be super lame to have 70's technology in 2008.

Yeah I know it was far fetched too. Turbo boost lept over cars and trucks and buildings but compared to this new show, that's mundane.
