It's Freaking snowing in Houston, Tx!, First the BA Hurricane in Sept and now this Options

I'm standing here dumbfounded. I know this may not mean much to those of you even an hour East of here - but it's very strange for us.
Only problem is I'm in the GT2 today and Houstonians drive retarded in the snow

Yeah East of here it does and of course North towards Dallas/FW it definetly does. Houston gets a decent snow maybe every 10 years [and by decent i mean 1-2 inches overnight that melts before noon] and some scattered flurries about every 3-4 years. This appears to be the later.

Whats kinda funny is at the end of the week I'm going to be flying into Texas, and supposedly here in Washington we're getting reports of possible snow this weekend (which is nothing out of the ordinary here...), and now I hear there's snow in Texas... I can't escape it!

However, I'm not going to Houston... Though I'll be a few hours away... lol

There won't be any snow here but where are you headed to? Austin, DFW, San Antonio - that's pretty much all the major cities here [if you can call some of them that] - all of them get snow except maybe SA IDK.

I didn't wanna be faced with extreme cold and snow... Though I've been hearing that it gets very cold, which still kinda surprises me cuz the last couple times I was there it was like in the 80-100 degree range... then again that was in the summer and then another time in the early fall...

That's crazy! We've gotten some flurries here already, but I didn't know snow ever stuck to the ground as far south as Houston. I knew it snowed there occasionally, but never knew it stuck.

texas is def a different kinda cold...i can go skiing in wyoming where the whole famdamily is and be in just snow pants and a long sleeve shirt and a cool poofy hat or something and gloves but the wind here just cuts through you... witchita falls gets pretty fing cold too...but in my part of dfw we didnt get any there was some in the inner city i live just north (flower mound) and we didnt see any but it got down to 32ish...my favorite is the kids here get all excited at ice chips that dont stick, not like fluffy powder that is amazing...i miss snow

I was playing PS3 (BTW: anyone who's beaten ASSASSINS CREED; please tell me... WHAT THE FCUK JUST HAPPENED? The gawd dam doc and the hot chick walked out and left me... Here i am with my chacter having delusional triangle-vision ability... And i cannot solve the cross word puzzle infront of the main door )...


Anyway: When my chick came home and told me it was snowing; i called her a lier. Then I went outside to do some chain smoking with a fresh (number 4 i believe it was) 32oz. And sure as hell there was no snow. not a flake. But it was fcuking cold, so i replace my "Pet-Patio Cat's" blanket in the outside storage (his bedroom of sorts for the cold nights), and stood out with the air-gun for a while waiting for that damn opossom to come back... shot it a few times... then got hungrey; and seeing as i was using the air-gun, not the "hunting" gun, then i wasn't eating any opossom (ewww lol). So i drove to subway. And while driving i see all this... stuff.... and i realized it was snow!! and i'm thinking HOLY SH!T, It's SNOW!!! ... I havent seen snow sense i was like ten... so what... 14 years ago... So i'm excited as hell.... I remember all the storys in high-school of people talking of snow; calling it fluffy and cottney... so i drop my convert top and blair the heater so i can enjoy the snow. Bad idea... Snow is not fluffy, it is not cotteny, it is not nice... snow is wet and cold and gets in your eyes and makes you sneeze... then it gets in yoru car and soaks into the seats because you have a leaky stupid window ... and so then you have to drive to work the next day with a cold and wet ass

Damn it.

On the bright side, i attended a fancy-pants Ball on tuesday... The H.A.A Holiday Ball. Lots of rich people; no beer. however, the resturant that was catering the even buys it's equipment from my company; so i knew alot of the people there; or was designated as important by any of the managers that i did know . I never drank much champane... but it was free, and because i was me, after several glasses... i was in the back drinking the sh!t from the bottle... Anyone ever see Lil John? Yeah that was me... sitting in the back; acting stupid sitting there, Swinging an expensive bottle of something arround; Spilling it everywhere like i dont give a damn... just blah-blahing with all the other people who'd rather get drunk than do the Ball room thing... (primarily the other husbands/boyfriends who had no relation to the event at hand) But back to the little john comment: My chick was yelling at me; and i'm like "WH-AT?" and she'd tell me to stop and i'd say "Oh-KAY" Scott (manager) would walk by, "Hey Johnathon, you want another bottle?"; "YEA-A-AH"

Anyway; Ya know that champane gives you one hell of a hang over?

Oh i've got a garage, and best of all is that it's not attached to MY appartment, but does have vent's in it... So someone else is heating my garage

I just didn't park in it with all the in and outing i've been doing lately; it's farther to park in the garage than it is to park in the space that's 5 steps from my front door; and when i'm running in and out all day, it's MUCH easier to just park in front and save the walk time.
