Okay, so my motor 2nd gen 3sgte has been misfiring lately. I talked to Lagos about it and we thought that it would be the spark plug wires. I have NGK blue ones by the way and have been running it since my Swap back in June. It just started misfiring out of no where, but that isn't the issue now.

My car won't start. It will crank but won't start. So I pulled my spark plug wires and tested to see if I'm getting spark and NO dice.

Then I pulled my coil wire going to the distributor cap and checked if I was getting spark and yes I was getting spark but a weak one. Either way that means that the coil is still good, no?

Do I need a new dizzy? Ignitors rarely go bad so I don't want to replace a 300 dollar part just yet.

I need help ASAP this is my DD.

yeah right!!! Money don't grow on tree around here. 170 is a lot to me. my cap and rotor is fine. Dizzy looks dirty, but it looks like it has never been replaced. I'm assuming it could be a weak coil. any way I will be at my buddies house checking to see if my coil is actually bad, by using it on his 3rd gen and to see if my dizzy is bad too. Now the igniter will be the culprit if both work good on his car.

do the bgb tests on the coil and ignitor, one of them is more than likely the issue

Thanks Manny, but I needed my car right away so I went to NAPA and picked up the coil for 46 bucks. Thanks to price matching.
