Nice job Mike. Its about time.
How high can you set those things? Can you put them up to stock ride height if you wanted to?

I know it can go higher. My question is, how high can it go.
If I ever get coilovers, id like to raise my car a bit, not make it even lower then it is now.

they are alot smaller than the original coilovers so it probably cant go to stock height.
700. it was a steal

Then it might not be the way I'll go. Id actually like to raise the car a little and improve the ride quality. These things sound like they are very harsh. We should meet up so you can take me for a ride.

Yea art, coilovers are not fun to drive daily at all frown.gif

i loved my bilstein / tein combo from back in the day but imo, i think you should get the pro-kit since they have the smallest drop...

nice I have the same ones, you can take it to stock ride hight thats were i had it when i first installed mine, set with low spring tension and lowest dampening it was actually a very smooth ride till i dropped it and stiffened it up now it handles like a dream.
I have the same prob. with the camber on the rear, i tried to adjust it but its only bolts it doesn't have a slide on it so couldn't get the to be perfectly straight, i had to gap the lower bolt hole to get it in "spec." but im sure if you raise it that wont be a prob.

Tiger- watch out for the damp. pins when you close the hood, i have 2 dents cause someone dropped my hood shut. If you just set it then press down to lock it you wont get the dents.

Did you try to adjust it?
You can loosen those 2 19mm strut bolts and pull the top of the wheel to you (car jacked up). There is some free play in those bolts for adjustment. Or, you can go get camber bolts that allow greater adjustment.

Is the oil leak totally gone now?

thats how i was going to do it. the bottom bolts have a little room for a move.

the car has been parked outside so its hard to tell because of the multiple spots on the driveway. i just parked it inside. i guess we will see tomorrow morning. there might be a small drop from the power steering

How have you set the camber plates in the back? When i installed my K-sport i left them in the middle, got about 3° camber.. then i set them to the outside and got 1.5° camber.

I can say that these things probably feel about the same as Teins SS - stiff and gets pretty old after a while - Its hard for me to have female passengers in the car cause they get headaches from bumpy roads. Great for ideal roads, but not your daily driver where roads are not in perfect condition. I am saving up to buy Ksport air bag suspension setup and will soon sell my Teins SS after that. Ride comfort is more important IMO.

Your car looks much better! I'm interested to see how well you can adjust your camber with the K-Sports as well as how they perform on the track. I'm sure you will put them through their paces.

I totally forgot those things were camber adjustable..lol. No wonder it looks so bad in the rear.
You really need to go have the car aligned. I bet it rides like ass because the alignment is all out.

saturday maybe. i went to check it, thinking that the camber was so extreme because of the large 19 holes where placed wrong. but it is the pillowball, i might do it tomorrow.

while it is up, i might as well drop the back a little more

Is there a shop near you that can align it, because the new laser ones want the car at stock ride hight otherwise it throws it all out of wack, the only thing i could do is align it by sight and a little of what the comp. told me. Just a few examples my SAI on my passenger side was -13.45, camber was -6.3(L)-5.4{R}, Toe was .02(L)+1.4{R} i didnt even do anything with the tie rods.
