Your tuner is referring to an oil re stricter. You buy it and put it with your oil feed line. You can get one at ATPturbo

Can you have "too much" oil going into a turbo????...sounds a bit odd to me...better too much than not enough. Surely you want the best oil flow possible going into your turbo helping to keep it cool and run smoothly????

Of course, too much oil can sometimes be just as bad as not enough oil.

Too much oil increases the chances of oil blowing past the turbo's seals, getting into your intake tract.
Oil restrictors are cheap and pretty easy to install.

its not so much a quantity overall, its too much oil pressure into the turbo, which is why you use a restricter @ the turbo to reduce the oil pressure within it

you only need one if your running a ball bearing turbo, ball bearings need vastly less oil then plain bearing.

saying this people over here who have put bb turbos on their 3sgte havnt put a restricter in and years later no blown seals....3s oil pumps arnt the best things in the world.

People without ball bearing turbos need them too, its not just limited to BB turbo applications

its not just about quantity its also about pressure

The OP is running a 7afte, 7afes are known to have a higher oil pressure than the range of pressure which should be seen at the turbo.
