so in about 3 weeks from now they will be hosting 14th annual toyota fest. here is the flyer in case some of you dont know what it is.

there is no charge at the door. although i have to check out how much pricing is for parking. i believe the first 30 min are free. then you have to pay. i think it might be like $5 for 3 hours but not exactly sure on that i might drive by there just to see how much parking is.

so lets try to get a meet going. there hasn't been one in so cal since december!!!

This weekend? You guys honestly think it might be worth my while to make it out or no? Because it is like 2 hours or so away from here. And my car looks rather $#!T. Nah, I dunno. I do want to make it out to a meet this summer with you all though.

I will drop by Ty, I'll be lookin around for ya. I'm gonna be stayin for a couple of hours, I have some preplanned activities that I have to do and I can't back out of =\

And Faust, your car will look better than mine at the very least.

I might guys, but there are some things I must consider.

1. Need new tires, brakes, and possibly rotors
2. Engine may have to be overhauled due to how hard it is on the car around that gravevine/I-5 (I am taking that class and can't have access to the machines til next semester)
3. I really don't know my way around out there, no one to come with me

If I were to go out there, I would like to be able to consider it a meet and not drive around so much. I love driving my car, although lately, either I got used to it and it seems too slow for me, or perhaps the engine really is starting to have age take it's toll on it. Either way, lots of light maintenance needs to be performed after next week's Finals. So I cannot promise and if I show up, it will be last minute, but don't count on it. I shouldn't have even brought it up, but this is where it is coming to lately. If the summer is generous and I can find a way around my smogs, I might just do a swap with low mileage. But I dunno.

hey everybody whats up. So the red celica i have no clue who he is. I just happend to park next to him. I saw him driving around super autobacs about a week ago. I have yet to find out who it is. ya i saw hatas car there and also saw xs94st celica but i didnt take a pic of it. I got to toyota fest at around 11 and stayed there for about 2 hours. ended buying a trd leather shift boot for $50. I met gmhappy there. When i was talking to him we saw a blue 6gc coupe with a nice sounding exhaust and a spoiler like supra leaving the parking lot (whoever that may be???)

hey how come nobody gave me cell phone a ring or left a txt, there were 3 of you that went. i mean i saw your cars their. I was hoping we could of met up and talked a little or went for a drive. I thought i was going to get atleast one call... but i guess not frown.gif hmm guess people just dont like meeting up with other fellow 6gc'ers...

and yes hata they are called raiser blocks i think?

how long is your car going to be out for. I will post something about our upcoming meet sometime in june. I want a lot of so cal people to go.

Is the damage horrible. BTW is it me or do the gt antenna go alot higher than the st antenna's?????

hata im sure your aware of that. But my car is not the one with the gt four raiser blocks and the jdm tails mines the other celi with trd emblem.

Okay Update on the car. replaced the lower control arm and ball joint and now need to replace wheel baring and hub. Then it should drive alright haha. Think my rim might be a little bent to so now i just have to make a trip to the junkyard. Luckily though no body damage! =D

i think you had the same accident my celica had a while back ago before celica was actually mine. did you hit a curb?

Well im going to plan a socal meet for june or july. So keep an eye out. I will post it this weekend on sat or sunday. that should give you plenty of time to put your car back together.
