confused.gif I sence a bit of anger today Mike. Help is help. If someone asks for help finding a part then he or she has just opened them selves to any and all answers. Linking them to TAP and any other online parts yard is helping them out, even though you may not agree with it. A sticky with all the good online yards is a good idea tho. Then if someone posts "Just go to TAP!" Then you have full right to flame them all you want.

So whats up with the celica? You never post any news about it.

i only suggest car-parts.com because when i need somethin, that's where i go, if it's not there, i'll ask people for it. and generally, you will find what you need off there for dirt cheap, cheaper than anyone would bother selling it for. such as my 7th gen seats for 200 bucks shipped. or shifter cables for <50 dollars shipped...the links page is a good idea, but i'm w/ bryan. help is help. any direction to finding the part should be considered help. perhaps they don't know of those places? it's not just sayin they don't wanna take it in the rear. taking it in the rear would be going to toyota, and that's only necessary when there's no other option (*cough* 4agze knock sensor), in which case, toyota-world.com is a good place to get stuff for list price...but anyway. sure mike, your rant has a point, but it's a little too nit-picky...if i don't have a part that someone posts a WTB about, i just suggest other places to search, to get them the item faster than waiting for somoene to aimlessly stroll along and sya...hey, i think i have one of those.... wink.gif

Not as of right now actually. I was down there the other day looking for a factory amp... and I think they have like, 4-5 6th gens, but they're all most chopped up...and they're all ST's...

And...no TAP isn't an online junkyard... although they do a bit of business online, most of their business is local. They're based in Rancho Cordova, CA, about 1 and 1/2 hours from where I live. I've done dozens of purchases from them, ranging from small electrical parts to entire motors... very good reputation and very good service. There's also a Fresno TAP Recycling but their inventory isn't quite that of TAP's...

Fresno Tap has a page also... but I forget the website...

The problem here is what happens when a new person to the board is looking for say sidemarkers. He has no idea where to get these so he posts on the board. What if that person really is looking for a website such as Pro Car Parts. I'm not saying some people do not post illegitimate things under WTB sections, I'm just saying that sometimes someone may be looking for that answer.

This has nothing to do with what Mike was even saying. He just doesn't see why people have to link sites for answers "All the time".

From talking to coomer and from the constructive remarks in this post, I think it would be a good idea to have a list of sites good for finding car parts...

www.toysport.com
www.taprecylcing.com
www.carparts.com
www.toyotaworld.com
www.topshelfracing.com
www.jarcoinc.com
www.usedengines.com
www.karspeed.com
www.venusauto.com

etc etc etc
but its up to coomer and whoever mods here...

and to not leave soundslut_dotcom without a little love

to quote my man John

Qatar11 (1:54:06 AM): nice
Mynzeyes (1:54:28 AM): we can't all have lambo door kits mike.
Mynzeyes (1:54:29 AM): ;-)

And not to sound like a pompus ass, but i'm the last person to pick a fight with, cause you'll lose biggrin.gif
