Recently my car started running poorly at low rpms, like idle to maybe 2k or so. If I stomp on the gas from idle (stopped) it hesitates before gaining rpm's. runs fine driving above about 2k. Below 2k, like taking off from a stop is really gutless until it hits 2k. It kinda jerks the car sometimes as it hesitates. Thats what the car is doing. here is a little about the condition. It's a '94 GT (no mods) w/ 115k miles. At about 100k miles I changed the fuel and air filter, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. I'm not sure if the timing belt has ever been done. I pulled the plugs out and they look fine. gap is ok. checked the cap and rotor. They looked fine but I replaced the rotor anyways. Checked air filter. It is still fine. Any ideas? a sensor maybe?

is your check engine light on?

it could be a o2 sensor, or it could also be a leaky vacuum hose

if you can hear a faint hissing from behind the intake manifold, chances are its a loose or leaky vacuum hose

either of these could cause a slight hesitation

I did run a bottle of injector cleaner through it first thing when it started doing it. Nothing. No check engine light, no vacuum hoses off.
