The BEAMS 3SGE came with 2 different trannies, I believe the s56 and e54, or vice versa. Since the import company won't take back my motor (700 bucks in US customs fees I gotta pay now) I have to take possesion of it. It comes with a tranny, but I'm not gonna know which one. I'm gonna have to source axles for it, but need to know what kind it is. Is there any sort of identifying marker on the tranny itself? Thanks in advance.

if your looking for axles, you should be able to use the 88-89 celica gts axles. the gts back then had a 3s-ge in it so it should work. but i could be wrong, can somebody back me up on this one?

The problem is, I don't know what tranny it'll have, since both were used with the BEAMS. I need to know the tranny b4 I can source the axles. I could just use the stock tranny I have now, but I want the gearing of 3sge tranny.
